I didn't think this fit my camera for quite some time, but I was mistaken. This works with my modern pentak k1 and 100mm macro lens. Don't expect precise movements and or adjustments when shortening or lengthening bellows.I would recommend getting it to the magnification you want and then locking in the position with the know on this slider. Then mount entire rig onto a macro slider if you are looking to focus stack.

I bought this for close up photography to use on my Kx Pentax. I found it pretty much unusable on the Kx, however I do have a 35mm Pentax ME Super with a SMC Pentax f1.7 50mm Lens. It does require a tripod and good lighting, but can be used for close up insect pictures. Of course getting up close and personal requires a bit of patience but the end result if worth the effort. The only real problem is getting the film processed after taking the photos! That seems to be a dying art in this age of digital photography!

Neither the lens mount flange NOR the camera mount flange were properly machined. The lens flange was only partially machined and the two borings were NOT concentric and would not accept the lens. The camera mount flange had a cross-threaded machine screw that protruded into the mount, preventing the unit from locking onto the camera. Even if it could have attached it would have been 90 degrees (clockwise) rotated to the vertical axis. The flange was assembled incorrectly. The bellows had two folds stuck together with cement and the unit could only extend about three quarters the length of the rails. It was shipped in a Nikon box and without packing. There were loose knobs and nuts inside that had to be reassembled. None of my eleven lenses, and three of the listed Pentax camera bodies, would attach. Even at this price, all this is ridiculous.Will not even consider any Fotodiox product ever again!

Not built very well and the tolerances are not great, but you get what you paid for. The item works well enough for me and I am satisfied with it. If you are doing hobby level macro photography, this works just fine.

It is well made and I have no problem with the quality. I was mistaken about what it does. I thought it was like a macro lens. That was my fault for not researching it more.

I ordered this unit for my Pentax K mount. when tried to mount it to my camera it was so tight fit that it would have damaged the sockets, so I had to return it back to Amazon. I guess inspecting these units after it is assembled is out of question.

Doesn't work very smoothly, but it did do the job. Kind of cheaply made.

As an avid photographer I have tried and own most all of the toys there are to make great pictures. I have extension tubes, close up lens sets and macro lenses but the Fotodiox Macro Bellows puts the rest of the macro tools in my arsenal to shame. Works well with the Pentax K-1. Haven't used a macro bellows before so it will take some time to get used to it. But so far seems to work fine.

I had asked for a bellows attachment for my Pentax K-30. Instead, I got a bellows for Nikon F-Mount. The folks at Fotodiox recognized their mistake, but I have been waiting for more than a month now for any furt6her news.
