I personally don't recommend this model, the error margin is considerably more when compared to clinical data. I made days of compare between clinical results and accu check results so I understand the difference and make sure accu check data is reliable for prolonged use, but the results are below standard.

The device if from Roche a very reputed company. However, it is compatibile for only a seciton of people. One by one I will tell you. First hte isntruction manuals have very very very small font size, very difficult to read. Second the device strips are very small. Initially any person will have difficultly until the person is traiend. So before starting the test please read, read, read, understand, watch youtyub videos etc. Think about the old persons, the persons with slow reflexes and the persons with shaking hands, It wil be difficult for them to use the kits in seconds. I wasted two strips initially. The first strip showed error (low blood volume) and the second strip showed "LO", although I had used more blood. Only in the third attemps I was successful, because before that I had used Ai to know how to use the kit exactly and it told me that use enough blood, with in 10 seconds till the flashing display is there etc etc Thus the device is good only if you know how to use it or someone already using it tells you. For the first timers, one strip atleast might get wasted. Display is good. The kit comes with a small bag, that is good. The battery is not rechargeable, hope it would have been rechargeable. because once the battery is over you need to purchase it. fresh. Similarly the strips are only once used. Lancet and the lancet holder are the best components of the kit. The cost of the kit is a bit high, because in the community health center one can get a gluoce reading in just Ru30. And the kit with 10 strips is more than doble the cost. Only in the long run if you are frequent user and purchase new strips keeping the reading device same...then the cost of single test will be less for you. Other things such as display of the reading etc are ok, but could have been improved, as pressing one button once or twice etc confuses us. If the touch screen had been there then it would have been excellent. Overall, the device is satisfactory, but only for educated persons or trained persons or persons who have someone to tell them how to use. For old people, eyesight issues and slow reflexes or shaking hands, the device might be difficult to use. For younsters who are technology savvy and Gen Y, Gen Z, Gen alpha, the device is good. I hope the strip size was a bit longer (for easy holding, not dropping),. I also hope if the cost was belor Ru 400. Thanks

Product is good.. packing not good

I like this brand so much (purchased first in S Africa) that when I lost mine on a recent vacation in USA I ordered this from Amazon (came from Ireland).

Excelente producto, super fiable y trabaja bien

Works very well and accurate reading

Looking forward to the Old man using it and giving proper feedback
