Works good for us
When we travel, every seat is occupied by our family of five (plus don't forget the dogs too!) so there's never room for luggage which is why we had to opt for a luggage rack for the roof. But when you use a luggage rack, you want to feel extra assured that it's not going anywhere and that your luggage will be with you when you reach your destination. That's why we opted for this anti-slip mat. While we haven't been able to use it a lot yet, so far so good and so far I'm happy with it!

Good non slip mat to protect the paint on the roof of your car
Clean the roof surface of your car/suv before use so you don't trap dirt and risk scratching the paint surface. Mat provides a good non slip surface when using a roof cargo bag. I had a 20 cubic feet bag and the mat was plenty wide for the cargo bag but slightly short from front to back so measure accordingly prior to purchase to match your carrier bag. The mat material can also be trimmed done for other uses, it is the same as draw liner you find in a home store.
