And off I went on a 7 mile run with one of these bright, new patriotic head bands. Figured I'd put it through the ringer it's first time out. There's really nothing I dislike about these head bands. First, they fit nice and snug - no movement whatsoever. Part of that is likely due to the grip strip that's around the entire inside of the head band. The grip strip doubles as a sweat stopper. It reduces (but doesn't eliminate) the amount of sweat that makes it past the head band and into my eyes. It's definitely less than with head bands that don't have the grip strip.I threw the headband in the wash and it came out looking just as it did when it went in. The grip strip was still firmly attached and the fit was the same as when it came out of the bag. Now, the question is: how long will the grip strip hold up. That's my only concern right now. And until I use it many, many times, we just won't know.Overall, I love the fit, function and style of this head band. It's a winner in my book.

It has a good design, but it's a little tight. Of course, I have a bit of a big head, and I wore it over a wig at a 60s-themed party. Overall, very nice.

Update - I have been using these headbands for six months. My original review is below, but the more I used them the more I found myself going back to them as the headband to wear. So I'm updating my review from 3/5 stars to a full 5/5 stars. I have found that I like the snug fit, especially since I run in the early morning and I wear a headlamp. These headbands work great for that.I love the design on these headbands. But two things stop me from giving these a higher review --1) The pictures don't show it but there is a rubber band stitched around the middle on the inside of the band. With a good headband that doesn't need to be there.2) Not the stretchy fabric they claim it to be. When I put it on my head there is a actually a small, loose gap between the top seam and my head. If you're head is smaller these may not be as snug as you'd like and if you're head is bigger they may actually be too snug on you.

It looks just like the picture. I wanted to love the sweatband, but it does not stay on my forehead at all. It continued to ride up to the middle of my head. It does not stay in place at all. It even has slip guards on the band, but for some reason they don't work. Very disappointed!

I do not have a big head, just normal size but I thought this was a bit tight. I am prone to headaches and this gave me one within 5 minutes. I have many headbands and have never had one so tight before.I did like the grip inside to hold it in place. I wish more headbands had this feature.I like that I can get my hat on over the top of this with no problem.I did not like how much of my hair it covered and that my hair was flat it was when I took it off.I'm giving this 4 stars because of the grip feature inside.I may edit and change once I try it outside in the spring when I'm gardening. Hoping it will stretch out a little and not give me a headache.

I am writing this the same day I received this item.I wore one of them out for a 5mi run and then tossed it in the wash. I was surprised to see that the material is great quality, reminiscent of what triathlon shorts are made of. As a bonus, it has the same gel material in a thin line inside of the band that tri shorts have in both the waist and at the leg opening to keep them firmly in contact with the skin so as to not move.When I pulled them out of the wash and about a 30min dry on medium heat I hung these up and was pleased that they made it through their first run and wash. For the price and quality, if both of these last me through May I'll be tickled.
