Tomato products these days are hit and miss as so much of it is GMO or grown hydroponically and the taste is compromised, mushy, bland, watery and even downright unpleasant etcBut this product is fantastic:Mutti is thick and substantial consistency, vibrant colour and a rich, juicy full tomato taste. It is so good I could drink it neat out of the bottle. Highly recommend.

Always the best passata. Cook a jar with a stick of celery, a peeled carrot halved lengthwise, half an onion, and 3 minced garlic cloves. Simmer for 30min on low. Add salt to taste. Remove the aromatics and serve with fusilli.

I was using this brand in Italy as well, the quality and the taste is superior to all other brands, but this of course can be a personal preference, so maybe try it, taste it raw and compare it with others.

Passata Excellent But due to the way the bottles are packed breakages have occured- 2 bottles completely smashed. Please consider packing in the upright position in the box with all the packaging but labels on the box THIS WAY UP also GLASS would help greatly.

It's only slightly more expensive than the usual supermarket brands, but the difference in taste more than justifies this. Nothing but a pinch of salt added, absolutely no other ingredients, no preservatives, no e-numbers.First batch of tomato and basil soup was outstanding: fresh and bursting with flavour.

This passata is the best so far for quality and price

This has a lovely mild flavour, but is extremely tasty. I used it for a pizza sauce, an Italian sauce for pasta, and obviously it makes lovely spaghetti bolognaise. It was great to use authentic Italian ingedients.
