Osprey Packs Skimmer 16 Women's Hiking Hydration Backpack

I love this backpack! It has plenty of space for snacks, a sweater and other miscellaneous things I always carry on hikes all while having 2.5 liters of water. It’s very comfortable and lightweight! The magnet clip across the chest makes it so easy to take off and on. It’s a strong magnet so it doesn’t pop off on its own. This backpack has made my hiking adventures so much better!

Perfect day pack bag. Big enough for a light jacket and my camera gear, along with the hydro pack for my hike to Angel’s Landing.

Love it! I wanted something for day hikes... usually between 1-4 hrs. Very comfortable! The hydration pack is easy to fill and the mouth piece is easy to drink from. There’s not any extra pockets aside from a net pouch inside the top of the pack... so if you like to have lots of different compartments... not the bag for you. The bag is big enough to carry enough stuff for a day hike... extra swearter, sunblock, snacks.... and the side pockets stretch to easily fit extra water bottles if needed.

Just got home from hiking at Zion National Park. Pack is well made and loved that it didn’t weigh me down. Would purchase one again

This pack with hydration pouch is super comfortable. I’m only 5’4” and it fit so well. Even with the water pouch full (2-1/2 liters) it was still comfortable and light weight. So glad I finally invested in this pack.

I bought this backpack for my daughter for a hiking trip at Mt. Ranier. It fit her well. She is petite so many of the other packs we considered were too big to fit comfortably The pack held enough water and also had plenty of additional space for food and extra clothes.

I really like this backpack. It is comfortable and easy to fill. There is lots of room for anything you'd need to carry with you on a longer hike.

EDIT: I pulled the “board” for lack of better terms, out of the back of the bag. I discovered there is a velcro opening where you can yank it out. This board gives the bag shape. It was made out of a layer of hard plastic and a layer of foam. I was able to carefully pull the plastic and foam apart. The plastic was thick, and hard as rock, and was definitely the reason for my discomfort/the rigid fit. I put the foam back in by itself and it’s like night and day! It fixed the problem. I have been on several hikes since, including some more strenuous hikes in RMNP. I went from hating this bag to loving it. Every aspect of the bag fit better, and the magnetic mouthpiece behaved after I made the alteration. I am changing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars simply because I can’t understand why the plastic was there in the first place. It’s worth the purchase if you like a good rucksack, and don’t mind altering the bag a little.This pack killed my shoulders on a 9 mile hike. There was lots of scrambling involved. Every time I reached to scramble, the magnetic mouthpiece came loose. SUPER annoying when you’re hiking all day. This bag held everything I needed, but I’ve never used a more uncomfortable bag. I was wearing 4 layers and it still managed to rub marks into both of my shoulders. I might consider using this pack on a shorter hike, but man, am I disappointed! Don’t let the aesthetic of this bag get you. It sucks.
