I purhased this in January 2019.I am still using it!!Yeah, the Battery-life is a little reduced, but it works. Talking about the Opinions/Views of Dentists, one is to brush Teeth for no more than 2 Minutes. The 30-second Alarm/Notification of the Brush, that happens four times, helps to time the Cleaning-Process and finish Brushing at 2 Minutes. The Battery of my Toothbrush (which is now atleast 5 years old) lasts atleast 7 Cycles. (I use the Brush for atleast 4 Cycles each time)It is more than enough.This Peoduct is worth the money.Please forgive me for my previous negative Review.I wish you all the best!

Good productTo keep it short, the place where its advantageous over a manual toothbrush like an oral-b cross-action is the ability to better clean the inside lower edge of the molars on the lower jaw and the backside of your upper incisors. The above statement applies is if your brushing technique is excellent with a manual toothbrushDrawbacks: there is one at least for me, its doesn't clean the wisdom teeth on the upper jaw effectively. You need to do some sort of contortion exercise with your hands to clean the wisdom teeth properly. You can feel a layer of gunk on the wisdom teeth even after brushing and you have to "attack" that area deliberately to clean them. This is a problem I did not face with a manual toothbrush.Product Review:Build quality is good, made by Braun & built in Germany. I've used it for a month before writing this review.3 year warranty if you register the product. Don't know what the RMA process is like so can't comment on that.Full battery charge takes a long time(12-15 hours). I've used the brush for 3 brushing sessions before recharging to see what overall battery life is life. After 15-20 minutes of use you can sense the speed of the oscillations go down since battery is nearing empty but overall battery life is good.Its waterproof so no need to worry when you wash it.Uses a Ni-Mh battery so I don't think it should suffer from the dreaded battery memory effect.Charging dock power cord should be longer its on the shorter side.Replacement brush heads are not easily available and when available are expensive. In a month of use the brush head that comes with it is still in like new condition so I don't think you will go through more than 2 brush heads a year.You need to get used to the buzzing sensation when you start using it, its annoying at first and becomes less of a nuisance after a few days. The buzzing is particularly strong when cleaning the incisors of the the upper jaw so that you'll have to get used too.If you have poor brushing technique or are an impatient brusher I would say get this since it will give you a better cleaning because this will provide more brush strokes in the same time and as a result lead to better dental health

I purchased it because of the curiosity. I had seen electric toothbrushes in Movies and here the ad came and I just decided to give it a try. Well, this is expensive than manual brush; no sense in calculation of number of manual brushes purchased vs this brush's durability. But, the product lives up to the claim and actually clean better! The timer helps you get away from your favorite brushing side and clean thoroughly, and the motor rotation increase the number of strokes so obviously the cleaning is better. I used it for 2 days and felt the difference. Visible difference in a week or two. (Don't expect Diamond Shine!)

For the initial few days, it seemed to remove plaque with ease which i could never remove with manual toothbrush. However after a week, toothbrush began to malfunction. It used to be very hard on my teeth & i was afraid my teeth might get damaged. Since oral b gave 30 day money back guarantee, i contacted them to return the toothbrush & get a refund. That's when my second & bigger ordeal began....They said they received the toothbrush in Nov 1st week or so & promised to send a cheque within 45 working days. Even after their said period & despite calling their customer care several times, i did not receive the refund & customer care was least helpful as they kept repeating the same vague assurances but things never seemed to move forward. In my last call, i yelled at the customer care for not returning my money & i received the refund within 4 days after that call. I bought this product based on lot of positive feedback here & good reviews about electric toothbrush in general elsewhere and i still feel electric toothbrush is better than manual toothbrush however iam not so sure about buying oral b's product online anymore.

Ca fait des années voire des dizaines d'années que je n'utilise que cette brosse électrique. Je ne suis pas prêt d'en changer. Très efficace, recharge rapide, et très grande longévité de la batterie comme du mécanisme. Rotation extrêmement rapide. Attention de ne pas trop appuyer, ça ne sert à rien, au contraire. Les brossettes durent plus longtemps, et nettoient mieux sans appuyer trop fort. Le minuteur est pratique pour ne pas s'impatienter. Bien lire la notice qui donne d'excellents conseils. Il faut les suivre absolument si on veut optimiser cet achat. Je recommande chaudement.
