Last Chance (Fortress Security) Paperback – May 30, 2024

This was one of the very best series I have ever read. All 19 of them. Each one had its own twist and turns. I love how the women were betrayed as strong and intelligent not weak and stupid. Very much your time to read them all.

I have loved EVERY book of this series and this one is no different. I loved Al of the plot changes and surprises about actual villains. The story was very engaging and I always love another member finding their personal. Looking forward to the next one!

Rebecca has done it again - another winning story from beginning to end and which keeps the reader intrigued. I wish I knew Fortress Security - what a great bunch of men and women. As usual, highly recommend reading Last Chance.👍👍

I love all the Fortress books. The heros in these books are strong, devoted to their women and their team. The world could use a few more good men like this.

Wonderful and as always can't put these books down. If you live a faith based, suspenseful, edge of your seat read grab book 1 get ready to get lost in Ms Rebecca Deel fast track world of black ops and the women they fall in love with and of course the problems and danger that comes with this group. I promise you'll love it.

I’ve always looked forward to the next book by Rebecca Deel. However, they are becoming too predictable. Heroine has a dilemma, hero swoops in, makes her some tea, goes after the bad guys, and they marry within days. I really hope the next few books will focus on the Artemis team, which should provide opportunities for a different framework for the plot. I recently went back and re-read s the first few Otter Creek books and really enjoyed the variety of storylines. This is what first drew me in to her books in the first place.

Rebecca Deel has written a clever plot in “Last Chance”, that kept my adrenaline on high throughout the book. Janie Moran is travelling by plane to Chile to visit her brother and meet her new sister-in-law. Janie is a close friend of Rowan and Brent Maddox. When it becomes known that Janie’s plane has been hijacked, plans are made by Brent Maddox who owns and runs Fortress Security for his Texan Team to rescue the hostages. The plot behind the hijacked plane continues to unravel as deeper research is made by computer gurus, Zane and Simone. Sawyer is the last of his team to remain romantically unattached. From the time Sawyer sees Janie’s photo he is smitten. A very sweet romance between Sawyer and Janie evolves amidst all the shoot outs and car chases. A tense, interesting read that I enjoyed mainly because the author kept surprising me with twists and turns I had not thought would happen.
