Wanted a car play unit for car to enable easier use of nav software on the phone, messaging etc. Looked at some 7 inch screens but decided bigger would be better so decided to give this one a try. First impressions out of the box were positive - very solid feel the unit and comes with two different mounting brackets (windscreen sucker and panel mount. There is a sticker for the panel mount and also screws if you are brave enough to screw into the dash but I decided to go with the windscreen mount. There is some sort of sticky surface on the sucker to help with the adhesion to the windscreen and if feels very solid, but in any even I had the unit resting on the top of the dash to keep it as low as possible. Also includes a camera which you can set up as a reversing camera. No automatic appearance when reverse selected of course but easy enough to select when you want to park etc.Set up was easy enough. Comes with a 12V socket adapter but I used a fuse pick up to wire it directly into the fuse box, enabling the wiring to be hidden. I havent connected up the reversing camera yet as this will be a bit more involved running the cable around but tested it and looked good.Connecting phone was also easy following the easy to understand instructions. Mine is an iphone so cannot comment on the android procedure but assume it will be equally as easy.Once connected, works very well. COmes on when ignition is switched on and automatically connects to the phone each time following the initial set up. Screen is very clear and bright and the connection to the phone is very stable.Does everything I hoped it would and looks good as well. All in all very pleased with it

Stupidly good piece of equipment, it just WORKS, you get a window attachment and a dash attachment, you just attach it to the mount then the dash, does absolutely everything I need. It has android auto/carplay MirrorLink and loads more, you can pair up with car speakers via bluetooth (little bit fiddly) but if you get it right first time it's a dream, you can use it with an aux cable directly into your car system audio, you can pair with a radio station frequency, it is superb, I've also installed Rayo on my mobile so android auto picks up dab stations through the phone, it's just brilliant, the connection is a bit on the slow side it takes a while to start up, but it's faultless when it's on. You must follow the setup instructions and install the MirrorLink app on your phone for updates, mine didn't need any out of the box, I can't value it highly enough, saves all the hassle of hardwiring the system into your car. There is one thing that would make this perfect and that's a magnetic mount but you can buy these, separately I love mine, it plays any app on your phone audio, Rayo, Amazon Music, Tom Tom Go app, Waze, Spotify, Deezer, and much more. It's speaker isn't great but it's a lot better than other carplay speakers, whoever designed these is a very clever person, the screen is really bright, I can see it perfectly, it plays full screen and you can switch easily between apps, it's power cable is good but would have been nice to have a usb or something in the plug so you don't need a triple cigarette lighter adapter with more cables, but I stick all mine in the glovebox, hides the mess. You must leave the sticky on the dashboard for 24 hours before using it or mounting otherwise it WON'T stick but once it's on it's really tough to get off. (Generally the idea) anyway it's well worth the money, I would have paid £100 quid for this and still been happy. I'm a nightmare to please and it's ticked all the boxes.

Really pleased with this piece of kit. The screen size is excellent and the touch screen is very responsive. It boots immediately and so far, three weeks in, has never failed to connect to my phone which was the reason I decided to replace my previous, cheaper version. Picture quality is really good and I use the included aux cable to use the aux input in my car as it is old and doesn't have a Bluetooth radio. I have also tested the FM option and that works well with good sound quality through the stereo.As mentioned, the touch screen is very responsive making it easy to scroll through the various screens. With the screen being larger I use the split screen option much more than I used to on my previous, smaller version. Set up was a breeze, literally went into Bluetooth on my iPhone, tapped the unit name, confirmed the pairing and that was it. Could not have been easier.The package includes two mounts and a round sticky pad which I have put on the dashboard. The unit is very stable, doesn't shake around when driving and has not fallen off once yet. I can only recommend this item, I was a little nervous about spending this much when cheaper options were available but this was really worth the money and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
