Illustrated Grimm's Fairy Tales

Superb collection of fairy tales.. neat pages... My daughter loves to read it again and again... Love the illustrations

My son just loves the illustrated stories. Though they are well known stories, the narration and choice if words makes it simple and interesting. Highly recommend it.

It was by accident that I stumbled upon the Usborne Illustrated Books Collection, and - by Joe! - was I glad! It is a beautifully illustrated book; though, you will do well to remember that illustrations are not available on every single page. If you want a book, which contains illustrations on "every single page", go for the Usborne Illustrated Fairy Tales, which is meant for slightly younger readers. Coming back to the book, the pages are gorgeously glossy and think and the paperback looks beautiful and exquisite too (although I ordered another in the series in the Hardback, which was divine). Of course, hardbounds are more expensive, hence if you are sensitive to price, go for the paperback version...you won't be disappointed. In fact, I have ordered more in the series and planning to start my very own Usborne collection. I so wish I had these books to read when I was a kid myself. Alas! It's never too late...

Very good quality book, stories are told in very easy way so that kids can read on their own. Page quality is very good and colourful pictures are an added attraction for kids.

I bought this after being frustrated with fairy tale books that abridged the stories so much that they stopped making any sense. Very satisfied with this book that retains the details that make these classic stories rich The vocabulary is somewhat difficult for my 6-year old but the illustrations hold her interest

i m very happy with the book ,it has all kinds of Stories for kids n my kid is enjoying, these stories are put in a different manner than Wat we see on tv n v read in other books

Good stories (some of which you may know already). But superb illustrations and paper / print quality.

my 8 yr daughter liked it. She was able to read and understand on her own. The pages were very nice and letter size also suited her.

Perfect book for our 6 and 8 yo girls who love to read. Especially the 6yo it's got some tricky words for her but it's building her confidence and she's loving the stories. I'm so happy to have found this!

It's for kids, so expected more colourful pictures/ illustrations

What a wonderful book written by outstanding authors, The Grimm brothers. Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs appear as they were actually written and intended. there a total of sixteen tales reproduced. Less recognizable tales such as The Goose Girl, The Bear And the Wren, Tom Thumb and The Twelve Dancing Princesses are included in this work. There is no fluff and little exaggeration. These stories are written as the Grimm Brothers wrote them nearly 200 years ago.. And they are refreshing as well as refreshing. As you read them to your little ones, you can always change words and meanings if your child isn't ready for the stark reality of the tales. These are not the tales that Disney portrays in movies and kids' books. Each story has some elements portrayed in them that reminds us of the Disney tales, but there is a big divide between Grimm and Disney. Keep this in mind should you read these tales to your young children. The book is made of quality paper. The illustrations are very good and colorful. Read the original versions by the Brother's Grimm then compare to Disney. It's a good book to own in your library. Like everything else in life, be careful how you use it around young and impressionable children.

You can’t go wrong buying these Usborne books. They are truly beautifully made with colourful illustrations. I have purchased a number of them in my grandchildren love them.

Hermosos, los cuentos y las ilustraciones, lectura fácil y relajada q disfrutan incluso los adultos, con historias q tienen la longitud perfecta para antes de dormir
