MyoWare Muscle Sensor

Q: Can this sense more then one muscle movements and distinguish them from one another or would that be more in my program?

This sensor can only detect one muscle at a time (single channel). You need to either multiplex the inputs using a instrumentation amplifier to offset the large impedance of your skin or use multiple sensors.

Q: Is there a way to connect this to arduino without soldering? I could not find the 3 head pin to solder

Connectors or wires need to be soldered but you don't have to use pin headers. Feel free to email us at support@myoware.com for more help.

Q: Does the black cord that connects the electrodes to the myoware board come with the board?

There is a small tab on top of where it attaches to the board that allows the cable to be removed when pressed.

Q: Could I use this sensor with the Raspberry Pi?

Not directly. The Raspberry Pi only has digital input pins so you'll need an ADC to convert the sensor output first. This can be as simple as having an Arduino as the middle man or you can use a dedicated ADC board.
