This book reminds me of "Improvising Rock Guitar" which will get you going in rock guitar. This piano book will get you going on blues piano. He limits the scope to two keys, which is wise when learning a new technique.You will be playing blues sounding pieces in a short time. After that, you can learn different blues types and keys.Enjoy.

Excellent teaching resource. Clear and easy to follow instructions especially when listening to audio files whilst playing. Have Music Speed Changer app (cheap as chips for ad free) so can vary tempo for trickier bits. Audio files however sound really tinny but can be followed okay. All round I am delighted with the purchase.

So far so good as I love the layout of Todd Lowry work on this book for a beginner, okay it doesn't have the detail as say the brilliant books by Mark Harrison that i have, so far I found this much better for a total beginner novice into playing piano and not just for blues, but rock n roll and rock music in general. I will no doubt no more once i get sometime to start working my way through it
