I don’t have hardwired wall sconce fixtures but I still love the option of having wall sconces without the eyesore of a plug-in version. These are entirely cordless and rely on internal rechargeable batteries to power them. One remote control is included for the two wall sconces. I like that the remote can individually change each wall sconces' lighting, although it's dependant on how closely together they're placed.The LED RGB bulbs are fixed and built-in so they can’t be replaced, unlike with other standard wall sconce fixtures so the longevity here is something to consider (both for the Li-ion internal batteries and the LED bulbs).As these are a great solution for wall lighting without having to call an electrician to hardwire a fixture for you, the downsides are worth it considering the fairly affordable price (~$35 each). They look nice and offer very customizable lighting to suit whatever atmospheric vibe you want to set (colourful, or not).PROS+ Cordless, no hardwiring needed. They look the same as the pictures but there was a tear and a breakage in the ones I got. Returning them.

I love the shades but the base part looks quite cheap. Like a tacky gold. Just beware before purchasing that this is not going to be a deep gold but rather a yellow, toy like gold. Might need to spray paint mine...

The media could not be loaded. It’s so great to be able to hang sconces without having to hardwire them. I really like the design of these, it’s really clever.The LED bulb is a baton shape and can be easily removed and used as a flashlight in a power and situation. It comes out of the base effortlessly and is charged directly using the enclosed USB cable.The bottom of the light baton, and the part of the scones that hooks to the wall are made of metal. The shade has a metal frame, and a magnet that makes it stick to the base. The shade itself is a pleated fabric. If pleats aren’t your thing, it can easily be switched to another shade that has a similar bottom ring attachment.The light can be operated by touch, or using the remote control that’s enclosed. I love the touch mechanism because I can just touch the bottom of the baton as I walked by and it comes on. Each time you touch it it switches to a different colour mode. I made a little video to show all the options. Turning it off manually is with a short touch and a second touch. Obviously, the remote control turns it on and off with the press of a button, and allows for changing the colour temperature and brightness.We don’t turn these on necessarily every day, so the charge lasts a really long time. However, they are there and very nice when we need some ambient light in the hallway at night.These are well-made lights, and as I said, a clever design for mounting and charging. I really like them.
