Fenton Art Glass: A Centennial of Glass Making 1907-2007 and Beyond

Very good reference book

Colored photos are great, well organized. Although it shows a lot of what Fenton made not everything. Was a little disappointed because cost, think some of the older reference books included more pieces.

This book was education on history of Fenton Company, as well as being full of pictures of their beautiful art glass.

This book is pretty, but it’s not a comprehensive reference book. I was looking for information on two of my pieces of Fenton glass. One is from the early 1900’s and the other from the 1960’s. Unfortunately neither of the glass styles were addressed in this book. The author’s focus appears to be a historical walk through the Fenton Company with some examples of glass production in each era. This is nice, but unfortunately not what I was looking for and the book it is quite expensive.

There are so many patterns and this book helps us identify the differing patterns as well as the colors that each item was produced. Many patterns look the same, so do full research to figure out which one is a match. Love the color photos.

There's lots of new wares covered in this book, and it's probably the most up-to-date. Would like to see a book covering this past 10 years, up to closing of the Fenton art glass factory. Many pieces that have sat in their inventory are being offered now, and it would help serious Fenton collectors update their collection's information. This is an exciting book, and I'm sure the values on many pieces have increased since this book was published.

The cost is way too high for such, feels like a $15 book
