TortecP-Clips : Black, 16mm

Absolutely annoying and useless purchase that both Amazon and Tortec got wrong.I purchased a Tortec Tour Ultralite bike rack knowing that something else was needed to fit it to my bike.I was pleased when Amazon offered the suggestion to add Tortec P-Clips to the order for an additional cost of £5.00 and in all honesty the extra parts totally looked like the right solution because;1. The Tortec P-Clips was being displayed with the Tortec Tour Ultralite Rack2. The brand 'Tortec' was fully confirmed in the advert3. The suggested advert gave a clear message that the P-Clips were the brands solution to final fitment of the Tortec Tour Ultralite bike rack.The Tortec P-Clips do not work with' and are not the proper solution to secure the Tortec Tour Ultralite bike rack to a bike frame on account that the hole diameters on the two bracing arms of the rack are smaller than the One hole on each clip whereas the 25mm long bolt and locking nut supplied to secure the rack will not pass through the holes in the bracing arms.A true waste of my time and Money, so don't buy these items together if you think its going to work OK.

Great, solves the problem of no lug holes on my frame, only 1 criticism I can make is they come with m6 nuts and bolts and the pannier rack that they are often sold alongside requires m5 nut and bolts

Excellent product, just what was needed for fitting my bike rack. Only downside is having to order 3 packs when I only needed 1. The minimum order bit is pretty daft. I can't see many people needing more than 1 pack.

These clips are designed so that you can fit a rear cycle rack on bikes that do not have the two mounting lugs on the frame just below the saddle. I have used these to fit a Tortec Tour rear pannier rack (but they would work with any make). I am very pleased with the result which looks neat and robust. It is essential to order the correct size as there are at least three sizes available.It would be helpful if product description made clear what these are for (P-CLIPS BLACK 16mm is not helpful when searching). I have given four stars because I think they are overpriced.

Used these to secure a rear rack on a bicycle without rack eyelets. They're covered in a rubberised material that grips really well onto the frame. So far, all good. Just make sure you get the correct diameter. You can find the diameter by wrapping a piece of paper around the seat stay tube, mark where it meets, measure its length in centimetres and divide that by 3.14.

Nice simple clips, used to attach a rack to my gt bike. Fit perfectly, I ordered 19mm clips having measured my frame with an adjustable wrench & tape measure - would recommend this to get the right size at the point of the frame you want to attach to, this should get you roughly the correct diameter & that's the size you should order. The rubber coating of the clips grip the frame fine without causing damage, they seem to hold the rack firmly, so I'd recommend these over standard nylon p-clips.
