I don't like how these types of curling irons have a learning curve. People make it look so easy on social media hahaha but when a curl comes out flawless, it's amazing! I use this on the lowest heat setting because of my fine hair. I do really like the timer because my mind spaces out into a million other things and the last thing I need is 10 seconds too long hahaa. All in all, great curler and I'm so happy with this.

I've never had an automatic curling iron before and found this to be cumbersome.first, the buttons to active the rotation are under the lever release so as it's turning it's smashing into whatever finger is holding down the button with. second, because the lever rotates around the hair it a) can get wrapped up in to the hair that's hanging down as it's rotating and b) it's never in the same place so you have to try to find it and not burn yourself when it's time to release the curl.Aside from the cumbersome issues with using an automatic rotation - it heats up really quickly. the curls look good and lasted as long as exected. The beeping as a timer is a nice touch as well.

I'm a small gal, 5'2" and 115lb. My hands are quite small as well. Though this curling iron seems fine in function, it's a typical curling iron, but it's definitely on the larger side and seems almost impractical for shorter hairstyles (especially with the short clip). Personally I will stick to curling my straight wolf cut with my straightening iron and using this whenever I need more defined curls.

After testing one out on a friend, I've wanted a Beachwaver for ever, but I wasn't thrilled with the pricing. There's no better dupe than this rotating curling iron. Heats up fast and creates perfectly rounded, long-lasting curls. Additionally, I'm a major nut for hot tools without a swivel chord, so I was happy to discover that this one had one.

If youve never used an auto curler before it takes some practice. Ive recently cut my hair and its on the finer side. It doesnt really curl my hair. Kinds curls the ends under.

I have a couple of other types of rotating curling irons, this is my first of this type. It only took a few minutes to get used to how it works. The iron heats up very quickly. I like that you can change curl direction just by pushing the left or right button. I have mid-back length, super curly/coil hair (IYKYK, I sometimes do the straighten then curl, for a different curl look than my natural). I have noticed that this Iron works best on shorter or thinner pieces, and hair without much product in it. Does make cute curls once you get the hang of it

I've wanted one of the Beachwavers forever, after trying out a friends but didn't care for the price tag. This Rotating Curling Iron is a perfect dupe. Heats quickly and provides perfect soft curls that hold well. Also, any hot tools without the swivel cord drive me nuts so I was very please to see this one does have it.

Not only does it gets hot amd meet it's temperature quickly buy after posing off ot takes longs to cool down, really easy to use different temperature and speed of the curler,curl time is fairly quick and due to its heating the curls last, it's not heavy so that's a plus
