Very good and reliable product

This external hard drive does exactly what it promises, and more importantly, it’s still going strong after a few months on the road. I’ve lost count of how many previous drives have given up after being bumped around in a backpack, but this one has handled travel like a champ. Fast, simple to use, and no fuss...just plug in and go. If you’re tired of replacing drives that can’t keep up with your lifestyle, this one’s worth every penny.

Works fine now I have formatted the drive with NTFS file system A bit of a pain to mess with, no idea why it was formatted with an old file structure, only cheap old stock HHD at a guess, works fine now with my PC but not so much with my LG TV, it keeps making me unplug the drive and plug it back in again, knew that was a risk but at £20 it’s not the end of the world. I like the fact it’s a mechanical drive, for buffering live TV that’s ideal as the drive should last forever nearly, SSD’s only have a limited life in comparison, so great for backing stuff up to, not going to set the world on fire for speed but that’s not what I got this cheap drive for

I have bought two of these 250 and 500 I wish I had bought the 500 in the first instant I will be buying another 500 as I feel safe that I have made the right choice thank you

A great external hard drive. It's exactly what I needed. It's compact and has all the space needed.

I’ve been using these hard drives for years. They are great to use with my MacBook and can handle premier pro. I recently purchased one which was a complete dud, did not work. It wouldn’t connect to my Mac at all. I have ordered another one (I’ve brought 8 or 9 in the past so I trust it was just a faulty one) and will return the malfunctioning one to the company. They’re great !

As far as I can tell from internet searches, this is a common problem. The return window has closed (after 8 months) but the hard drive has stopped connecting to my laptop. The problem is the port that the power/data lead plugs into. It's too flimsy and has stopped working. Advice to other customers would be - if you intend to leave it in place and you will not plug and unplug, you will probably be OK. If you want a Portable External Hard Drive do not choose this model. I've now got the pain of paying for an expert to try to retrieve my data. Since my previous hard drive had the same problem, I won't be buying Maxone again. It's more expensive than average and doesn't go the distance.

El disco duro sirve para tareas sencillas, más su compatibilidad con consolas de videojuegos, la cual es la razón por la que lo compré, deja mucho que desear. No sirve para Wii, Wii U. Aunque el anuncio decía que servía para consolas Y el servicio al cliente en particular es horrible Si quieres un disco duro, hay mejores alternativas por el mismo precio No es malo, solo la empresa no da servicio al cliente en lo absoluto.
