Desert Essence Lavender Tea Tree Deodorant, 2.25 oz

This is the absolute best natural deodorant. Period. I have tried so many aluminum-free ones on the market today - Native, Lume, Dove, Arm & Hammer. to name a few - and I absolutely love how this one performs. I have very little odor, even after gardening in the hot sun for hours, probably due to the tea tree oil. The texture is similar to regular antiperspirant and doesn’t stain my clothes, in the rare event of transfer. It smells great (Lavender and Fresh Scent tried so far). And it’s not expensive. I do have to hold the roll inside when applying due to the eco packaging- not a problem. Do yourself a favor and try this one.

This deodorant works very well for me but is smaller than I thought it would be and the price is a bit high for what you get. Also, I was expecting it to smell like coconut (shampoo/conditioner smells amazing) but I really couldn't smell anything on the deodorant. The biggest issue with it is the packaging. It's in a small round paper tube that you have to push up on the bottom in order to apply it. I appreciate the paper tube but it needs a better way to keep the product up so it can be applied.

I am desperately looking for a new deodorant to replace the Earth Science product I used for years. Although this product would work, the packaging makes it almost impossible to apply without a fight. With my non-dominant hand I can hardly keep the actual product at the top of the tube to get it onto my under arm. I have to stuff a scrunchie or folded up toilet paper tube into the end to keep it elevated while applying the deodorant or I end up, just scraping my under arm with the packaging tube. The price is outrageous for the lousy packaging. I’m still confused why paper packaging costs twice as much as plastic packaging??? I would buy this product in cases if they would just change the packaging! How did this possibly get through consumer testing?

Would but again the scent is good it helps with under arm smell. Value for money is very good. Did not irritate my skin. No aluminum. Very effective. Could be easier to use that is my only complaint. Its like a push pop but its hard to keep the deodorant up with it pushing back inside.

I’m allergic to the aluminum in antiperspirants. The scent is great, and the anti-microbial tea tree is great for reducing odor. My waxer has praised how healthy my underarm skin looks, and I always credit the deodorant. Love that it comes in a cardboard tube instead of adding more plastic to the environment, but I wish it was sturdier. By the end of the tube, it’s starting to wear down. Overall, though, this is my favorite deodorant ever!

My favorite deodorant. Can last for more than one day. Inherently antibacterial.
