Works As Advertised
Where I live is very hot and humid. I purchased an electric dehumidifier for my master bedroom and, surprisingly, it is pulling a ton of water from the air, and fills very quickly. As a result, I got Moisture Absorber Boxes for my closets, and they are also pulling a lot of moisture from the air, making it clear that I need to try to keep my belongings, throughout my home, safe from moisture. So I am trying different methods, especially in those areas where I don't have electrical outlets to plug in a dehumidifier. Therefore, when I saw these, I thought I would give them a try. They are fragrance free, and came in a pack of three, which measure 6.1 x 3.3 x 4.1 inches each. Globular calcium chloride particles are used to pull moisture from the air, which is collected in a separate layer at the bottom of the box. So far, they have worked as advertised. However, I prefer the ones with the hanger, as they are easier to place.

Fast absorption.
It works as it says it should. It has been two weeks since I placed it under the sink and it has collected the moisture and humidity that accumulates there. No leaks or no smell from it and it all remains in one place with no messy cleanups. It comes in a package of three sealed containers. All you have to do is remove the outer plastic wrapping, take off the foil covered top without puncturing the white sealed one and replace the lid. You place them anywhere you know stays damp or runs hot. You know it works once the beads liquify. I’m not certain how long one box lasts, so I’ll say it depends on where it’s been placed. They’re small enough to fit almost anywhere. Best part is that all you have to do is throw everything out so there’s really no getting your hands dirty or time consuming wipe down or sweeping.

Wow!
I’m not sure how these work, but the amount of liquid they collect is crazy! I hide them out of sight and check on them weekly. The balls melt leaving a jar full of liquid. They definitely are pulling humidity from the air.

Working fine
I got these to put in my mom's car. It had developed a leak and the carpet in the floor of the passenger side got wet. A wet vac was used to get most of the water up, but it was not completely dry. I put a container of this moisture absorbers in the floorboard last week and it is evidently working. I haven't seen a lot of water in the container, but the carpet feels almost dry. Best of all, I smell no mold or mildew. I'm glad the product is also unscented, mom hates the smell of those fake air fresheners. It was very easy to remove the lid, take off the foil lining and put the lid back on. That was all that was needed before I put the container in place. For three containers, I think it was a comparable value to other moisture absorbers.

Doesn’t smell!
I was really looking forward to this because it is unscented… Sometimes, these things can smell SO strongly — this one doesn’t smell at all! It’s a great size for a small closet, under the sink, etc. The plastic is solid, and the aluminum seal came off very easily… Just make sure you don’t pull the fabric underneath.

Works well in a small humid room
The dorms get a little muggy and humid sometimes, and this is working well to help keep some moisture out of the air in our girls closet in the dorm. Small but good size and priced well for the set.

Compact for spaces like under sinks
I generally am not a fan of single use plastic items, but these moisture absorbers have a compact shape that fits under the plumbing in my bathroom vanities, so I got them. The instructions are to peel of only the foil, so don’t grab the white tab that is in the same place. This will reveal a white sheet that I suppose is to keep the salts in place. Place it where it needs to be and forget about it for a while. These products work because the salts in the basket attract water. You will know they are working well before you see water in the catch basin because the salts will start to clump. I am reviewing these at that point in their cycle. Getting to clumps took a day,So they are sucking moisture out of the air at a good speed. This will help reduce any stuck humidity in the wall between my two bathrooms. Now, I see no reason when I’m at the end of the life cycle of the salts in these, the point where all we have is brine in the bottom, that I wouldn’t cut the membrane off and refill these containers. That’s not me telling you what to do, just that if single use plastics bother you, there appears to be a good way around it.

Humidifier/Moisturizer
I can’t really feel the change of humidity in my apartment while using it. This is like a humidifier without plugging in electric however not as good as humidifier machine. What i like is that, it doesn’t have scent and its small so i can hide it on certain places.
