Very impressed with the quality and appearance of finish.
I restored my childhood 22 LR rifle which had some surface rust on the barrel. I sandblasted all the exterior steel parts then sprayed on 3 coats of the flat black Air Dry Duracote. The finish is very smooth and hard. It looks and feels great. All lhe lettering on the barrel remained completely readable. I think the prep work is key to getting a great result. The spray goes on smoothly and consistently and I avoided sagging by using light coats. I waited about 15 minutes between coats. It is a stinky paint so good ventilation is important.I will definitely buy more in the future.
