As I was taking these out of the package they rubbed against my inner arm and immediately cause an awful skim rash - and I do not even have sensitive skin! Put them on pillows for all of 2 minutes and they irritated my face so badly I immediately packed them back into the box to return. Have never been so disappointed with an Amazon purchase that had had such high reviews. Do not recommend at ALL.

Being a newly single guy who never had to buy pillow cases I was not exactly sure what to look for as far as construction material. I knew I did not want something silky and shiny but at the same time, I did not want a flannel feel either. These fall somewhere in the middle with a lean toward flannel in my opinion.They are a good size, look great and are easy to care for. I washed them in cold water and threw them in the dryer with everything else and they came out fine. I suspect they will wear well, but time will tell on that.That said, I prefer a pillow that stays a bit cooler. You know when you flip your pillows around and rest your head on one that is cool? These stay a little warm to me. Not sure if that makes sense and nothing against this pillow case, but I am going to try a few different materials so I can have a good mix of pillows on my bed.For this review though....this is an excellent pillow case and I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality pillow case with a nice soft feel that is easy to care for.

EDIT: I contacted the seller about the seam issue, and received a rapid response. They've sent me a replacement pair free of charge with a handsome apology. NO problems with the set that just arrived. That sort of customer service is worth another star! These pillow cases are soooooo soft!ORIGINAL: I wanted more *soft* pillowcases. Reordered some bamboo-cotton cases I had gotten in the past, and also a pair of these in what I thought was a very dark blue.They aren't really that dark a blue, but are close enough to what I wanted. The material is MUCH softer than the bamboo-cotton material. I wash items before I use them. These washed up quite nicely with a minimum of wrinkles.When I was folding, I couldn't fold one pillowcase straight. Once I'd turned it inside out, I saw the problem. Somebody was careless about flattening the fabric when the seams were being edged. See the picture. This is going to be easy enough to fix, but I shouldn't have to carefully inspect items like this. Minus one star

Still wrinkles when I've tried many methods of wash and dry. I'm not going to press these everyday, I bought 48 of them...I use these for my Acupuncture clinic and the wrinkles make for an 'unkept' looking treatment room. Smooth and silky though! and cheap :( These keep getting more and more wrinkly! Terrible product

These turned out to be beautiful polyester pillowcases at a ridiculously low price! I have four king pillows on my bed and a lavender duvet. The pillowcases wash and dry with no wrinkles or dye loss, and dress up the bedroom really well. Highly recommended - I don't know how they can charge so little for such quality. Well done!

Very soft. For a low price pillow case I’m VERY happy. I have all king size pillows and i like the extra long king size cases. These are great. They have a little extra material so your pillow isn’t hanging out of the end. They’re not see through, so they should hold up in the wash. I bought 12 more for my kids beds. For this price we can afford to have a bunch for backup on wash day!

I thought they were 100% cotton instead were 100% polyester. very disappointed. Color is beautiful

Usually I get Amazon Basics pillowcases, been happy with them and they're about 8 bucks a pair. They didn't have a darker blue in stock, so I opted to pay another six dollars for these.MY EXPERIENCE:BADLY-SEWN - At first glance, I thought ok, but around the seam at the top where you put pillow in, BARELY tacked, and badly and I will have to stitch and I JUST put them on pillow!FABRIC - UM I can see thru them when they're double layer. If you look through one layer, practically as easy to see through as gauze.WRINKLE FREE? - UM. NO. I washed them in a delicates bag with plenty of Downy fabric softenener and then dried them, out of the bag, so they would NOT have wrinkles and THEY CAME OUT OF THE DRYER with the LINES they had been folded in in the package I got them in. EVENTUALLY maybe they will come out, but I HAD WASHED them with Downy, dried them separately in dryer so they would fluff up, and WRINKLES, DEEP LINES from FOLD marks.COLOR - Color is true to image.SOFTNESS - Do seem soft.PRICE - Considering these were six dollars more than Amazon Basics, didn't think that great of a deal. Is the quality a LITTLE BETTER than Amazon? Don't think so. Amazon seems better sewn and about same thickness. And they're six bucks less.
