Works as advertised for store and load. Retro games and XBox ONE titles can be run from here but not ones optimized for Series X. Moving a game is still faster than re-downloading a game. Totally worth it.

I got this for the price I wanted and it's a works just as expected. And it works just as expected. I'm now able to store all my games on a hard drive and then just transfer them over to the internal one when I want to play them. It's way faster than downloading them again.

The drive is exactly as expected. 5tb external Xbox compatible. However the free gamepass did not work. Not sure if it’s because my husband already has gamepass or what but I tried the code card and it threw an error.

OK, as far as the drive it’s a hard drive. It operates, but we’ll see how long it lasts. However, one of the bonuses to buying this brand and this model was getting the month free of game pass ultimate. Now if you’re buying this drive, you obviously have a Xbox that you more than likely have played and at this point it has been around for a while so more than likely you have used at some point game past ultimate however it does not come with a month of game pass ultimate!!!!! it comes with a game pass ultimate trial and if you have ever at any point in time on your account used a game pass ultimate trial. The card is useless because you cannot use it if you have ever used the trial. This is completely ridiculous. Why even state that it comes with it. It should’ve come with a game pass ultimate card for one month no strings attached and no bogus garbage like being a trial that can’t be used if you’ve ever used game pass ultimate anytime in your life. Next time I will not purchase a Seagate because here is the thing game pass ultimate one month is roughly 20 bucks so it was a deciding factor and where they’re paying a little bit more and getting this hard drive instead of another brand which would’ve been $30 cheaper. If you ask me, that is a scam you’re promising something that you actually are not getting!!!!

To my knowledge, you need the expansion card if you want to play XBX/S games anywhere other than the main hard drive. That said, I bought the expansion card for games (GTA, Flight Simulator mainly, those take up a TON of space). I've been using a Kesu hard drive for about 5 years now; it's slowly starting to malfunction.I bought this specifically to format as a media drive for my 4k captures of GTA/Session Skate Sim/Shredders Snowboarding Sim before auto uploading to OneDrive. The process is super easy. I just hold the share button to start video capture, and hold again to stop recording. Within a few minutes, it's uploading to my OneDrive.

Works great but having to transfer games back and forth is annoying.

Love the portability and ease of installation and it functions as it sure with cheap fantastic storage
