I research products extensively to ensure I get the best value for my buck and these bumper plates are them. Are they the best? No, but at nearly half price I'll take them any day. I have noticed the rubber is much harder than most plates I've used in the past; I wouldn't drop these from overhead on my garage floor...I've also seen a lot of reviews concerned about the California prop 65 cancer label. I don't find this a concern at all. These plates are made out of recycled rubber and it's simply not cost effective for them to test for the presence of ANY prop 65 chemical; so in other words, these plates could contain minimal or even no chemicals that can cause cancer (and unless you plan on eating these things, you're okay). The biggest cancer concern for California is their socialist citizens and brain dead politicians. Buy these plates, get juicy, and be happy.

They sent me the wrong plate size twice. I ordered a pair of 25lb plates and they sent two different sizes. After returning them twice now (1st time was 15 lb and 2nd time was 10 lb) they are not giving me the money back on card, but on Amazon gift card after they get item back. It was a bad experience overall and I am very dissatisfied with whole thing. I love Amazon and do a lot of business with them every week through several accounts, (and this is very rare for them) but Rage fitness by Gibson Athletic has not done right by me in my mind because it happened more than once. Now I am stuck having to buy another unmatching plate and still haven't been able to use the original I received because I need two plates to balance each other out.

Ordered two of the 45 lbs for deadlifting. I needed an inexpensive, oversized (both height and girth) set of bumpers that would be tall enough to stop my cast iron plates from making contact with the floor. These bumpers fit the bill perfectly. They are taller than my cast iron plates and can really handle the force of carrying all the impact when making contact with the ground. A deadlifting platform is ideal, but if you own a set of these, you can get away with using a horse stall mat, thus saving your floor from damage. Initial impressions are these bumpers are of high quality and seem very durable. They fit on my power barbells with no issues sliding on/off with ease. My only other experience with bumpers were of the Rogue variety. While those are nice, they are also more than double the cost of these. Compared to Rogue, these bumpers are definitely more stiff and I can't say I would be comfortable dropping them from overhead. But if your goal is to deadlift in a home gym while saving your flooring, these will work just as good as anything and costs significantly less. Happy lifting!

Bought 2 of these and 1 of them was fine. The other would not fit on my bar. Figured it needed slight filing on the inside of the ring. I used my bastard file to try that and after about an hour of filing a bit and checking it and filing and checking I realized I was getting nowhere. Finally had to go to lowes and buy a "rotary file" bit for my drill. Came home and spent another hour filing/grinding with it until I finally got it to fit. I would've just returned it initially if I knew it would take that much work but I guess it's fine now. Not very happy since I wasted the time I usually work out on having to fix this. I'll change my review should the company contact me and make this right.

These are completely made of rubber. They were less expensive and worked for what I used them for, but I would not buy again. All plates, regardless of weight, are around 15'' in diameter. Not the best quality. Heavier plates, 25# and up are OK, but the thinner plates (10# and 15#) were warped. Oh, and they come from China coated in grease and wrapped in a plastic bag. Beware of getting this stuff on your clothes or on furniture/carpet.

Pretty annoyed. They don't sell in pairs so I made two separate orders. They each look different. One is green lettering and one is black lettering. You would think this is something they would consider when they see someone ordered two. I would think the majority of their orders would be for two of them since you need at least two for a barbell. The quality is fine but it doesn't look nice having mismatched weights. If I had to do it over I'd rather pay a little more in a store so I can verify they will match.

They have minor rubber smell like some reviews said. Its not horrible it seems to go away (maybe up close it has its rubber smell), but other wise these are extrmely acceptable based on price. They do not compare to Rogue or even Hulkfit but for the price not bad. I painted the pounds and name with a white paint marker to bring them out a bit.

Product is the same price (for two) as Rogue. I was annoyed when I didn’t read the price that said it was sold as a single meaning I had to order another one so I had a week ago between finalizing my weight set. Overall the quality appears similar but I prefer the visibility of the weight amount in white against a black background instead of black on black
