Perfect for sea monkeys
The media could not be loaded. I got this tank for my sea monkeys, I love how it is small enuff to place anywear and the built in heater is what sold me! I only dose Celsius. I would not put any actual fish in it unless it was fry or a sick fish. Would buy again in a heart beat!

Mid
It works in the sense that the lights and water leakage but I’m not to confident with the heating aspect. I use it for brine shrimp. One thing I do appreciate is at the bottom of the tank there’s a valve that allows you to empty the water from underneath

Cute but time consuming
All I have ever had was tanks with a filter My fish made it 2 weeks. The water was the nastiest smelling water ever. I changed the water on Monday and Thursday evening so he had clean water. If not slim was covered insideI do like the drain on the bottom. That made it easy to clean once you got the betta to an alternate bowl while you cleaned itLoved the light colors and the temperature was spot on.

neat tank!
It’s a really pretty tank! considering the fact that I hate the look of heaters, this hides the heater so it is perfect for me. Although, I would NOT suggest it for any kind of fish. Minimum fish tank size for any fish should be 5 gallons in my opinion as an aquarium enthusiast. I purchased this for my sea monkeys instead! you can also house scuds in here or maybe a small snail but that is all.

Too small for any fish
When I unboxed this tank, I was shocked at how tiny it was. See the picture: that's a half-liter bottle of VitaminWater, and it's lined up as close to the exact midpoint of the tank as I could get by eyeball. This is *TINY*. It's way too small for a betta. It's too small for ANY fish, with the possible exception of a newly-hatched rice fish, one of which I once raised in a margarine tub. It is absolutely not suitable for a betta. Nor, for that matter, for use by children.Yes, a betta could live in here. And you could live in an airplane bathroom. You'd have about an equal amount of space. Just because fish stores sell bettas in tiny cups doesn't mean those are suitable housing for the, nor anything close. The part you don't see is that they change the water daily, and remove the dead fish every morning. They make enough profit on the fish that they can afford substantial losses. Bettas (even the males bred for extravagant fins) are actually quite active fish; when you see them sitting on the bottom of a minute container, that's because they don't have enough space to swim. The basic features of the tank are excellent. The bottom drain system does work, and at least in my testing, has not leaked yet. The light is adjustable in both color (including cycling through colors) and brightness. The temperature can be set from 20-29 C (68-84 F) If you were going to put a betta in here, which you absolutely should not, you should set the temperature to at least 24C; otherwise it would be too cold. Because it is intended (though not suitable) for bettas, which are capable of breathing air in low-oxygen conditions, it does not include any aeration. But it's sold for bettas. That's the whole problem. If I were to keep a betta in here for some reason (I unexpectedly acquired one and didn't even have a gallon pickle jar to put it in?) I would have to change the water at least every two days, and I'd rather change it daily. A child responsible enough to change the water every day is responsible enough to have a real fish tank; a child who is not should not have fish, either. Putting a betta in this tank is condemning it to a slow death. So what am I going to keep in a tank the size of a cut-rate coffin? I'm planning to put a few red cherry shrimp in there. With some plants, a small airstone, gravel on the bottom (and a screen to make sure I don't drain my shrimp!) it will be a suitable home for a few dwarf shrimp -- not even enough to populate a cracker. But it will look nice on my desk with teeny freshwater shrimp in it.The fact it will be a sufficient tank for a small number of dwarf shrimp, along with it being quite well-made and with features as advertised, is the only reason I didn't give it only one star. Not recommended, unless you have a specific use case (like my shrimp) for it.Absolutely not recommended under any circumstances for a betta.

i wish i could give it 0 stars
this is worse than the fish bowl, and that is hard to do. I can't believe this "tank" exists and I think it should be taken off the market. This thing is so small that I honestly don't know what can be kept in there. Definitely not any live fish. I am shocked and appalled at the existence of this product. The temperature adjustment aspect is cool, maybe you could use it as an aquatic planter or something. Please for the love of all that is good, do NOT try and put a living fish in this teeny tiny excuse for a "tank". It is ridiculous it looks like a bad joke. I doubt any aquatic plants would even do well in here due to the extremely small space. There's no room for a fish to swim in here. Should be taken off the market. This is one of the most neglectful fish tanks I have ever seen.

Great Nano Tank
This is actually a great little nano tank its very small so i wouldn't put much in there but i use mine for aquatic snails and sea monkeys. Its easy to change the lighting which are dimmable and to change the temp as well. Great for beginners.
