Super easy to install, easy on the battery, and looks great too
2017 Keystone Springdale Mini. I've never cared much for the 2-way fridges in any of my travel trailers. Not very efficient on propane, and have always had a hard time keeping a tight temperature range. After resigning to using the fridge in my current camper as storage, and using a 12vdc chest cooler/fridge to keep food and drinks in, I decided it was time to swap out the old Norcold 2-way fridge for this 12vdc fridge. Installation only took a couple hours. The only real work required was cutting about 3/4" off from the right side of the opening to accept the slightly wider fridge. The existing 12v wiring for the old fridge (to run the control panel) was more than large enough to handle the power requirements of this unit. While the old fridge was out, I glued in a piece of 1x12 to the end of the cabinet so later I can add a folding shelf for more countertop space, and added a dual USB outlet as well. I also removed the old copper pipe and re-routed it underneath the camper to give me a provision to attach a quick connect hose to run to the grill or griddle.Once the new fridge was in place and the wires connected, it fired right up and cooled down to temp within 30 minutes. This unit uses right around 2A when running (more/less depending on which mode and temp setting you use), and is VERY quiet. It has been running for 3 nights straight now and has kept a temp range of 34° to 39°, while the freezer will maintain 0° to 7°. With 300Ah of LiFePO4 battery storage and 400W of solar on the roof, the battery is fully charged in less than a couple hours after the sun comes up. I typically deploy an additional 800W of portable panels while camping in the summer, so this thing should run forever. Very happy camper so far.

Works well
This did the trick for us. It’s a little confusing because it says ac/dc and it only works with dc.Wish it was either one but we’re still able to use it and it cools nicely!
