Great but just enough for one comfy-food diner for the family
My family’s diet is very varied. Yet, as parents from the so-called chips-generation (1970-1980’s) there is nothing we like to serve more than tasty, crunchy french fries. Our children, curiously, have a different opinion they favour more upscale sides like pasta or rice. And certainly in restaurants they structurally leave the chips on their plate as they strictly only consume my chips, these thin McCain French fries from the fryer.Either way I only get he air fryer out maybe once every two or three weeks. Personally I don’t like chunky chips that much as I can’t stand the taste of ‘rawish’ potatoes and there is a higher risk of that with chunky chips. So these french fries are perfect. I typically place them in the fryer for about 19 minutes. And given them a good shake for at least 4 times that that the bottom ones get tussled to the top. My indication of when it is finished is when they turn golden / light brownish. Yum yum!.This 900 gr bag is just a enough for one meal for our family. And the whole bag fits in the fryer. So that is fine. Though I usually order a larger value-bag so that we have some left over.

Love these
Okay... you can buy supermarket own brand fries for a lot cheaper... I've done this in the past and regretted it because they are most definitely not as good... McCain are reliable and, so long as you follow the instructions on the pack, you will get perfect results every time... Great fries... I highly recommend them

Good old McCain quality!
Of all the various flavoured McCain fries, chips and wedges I've tasted over the years, Crispy French Fries is still my favourite.... closely followed by Crispy Skin On Fries! Now that I've dragged my Actifry out of retirement (from on top of the fridge), it's good to see these fries have cooking instructions for various powered air fryers too.McCain isn't cheap (what is these days?) so I usually buy on offer, even if only 50p off!

Cooks really good in the air fryer!!!
I personally like the flavour of these fries over store brand ones and they do cook better in an airfrier than oth brands I have found!!!

Yummy chips
Chips as they should be: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and full of flavor.

Crispy, but loses heat too quickly
Although these definitely crisp up more than thicker fries (in fact, they often crisp up to the point of almost being burnt they are that thin), they also lose their heat very quickly (again because they are so thin). Was often left with about 1/3 of a portion that had gone cold.
