The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia

Love this book, its full of interesting Zelda facts and the artwork is superb. Only down side...seller needs to pack it better. The spine on the bottom of the book was damaged in transit. Kept it as replacement may be in a worse condition considering the lack of protection the package gave the book. All in all very pleased with my purchase. Just need the Art and Artifacts one now to complete the set.

Fantastic book for any legends of Zelda fans

This is a wonderful book that's so full of information that even the most hardcore of TLOZ fans might find something they didn't know. If you want to know more about anything be it the history of hyrule, the many enemies or even how much each colour rupee is worth in each game then this is for you. Each page bursts with information. Apart from Breath of the wild (its getting its own book in November) this is a great companion piece to the series as a whole. I had alot of fun reading through this. Learning about each village in each game, seeing just how many varieties of enemies have been in the series (its alot more than you might think) and just the presentation as a whole. I found it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. It has the updated timeline (again without BOTW) and I can go on and on about what lies in its pages. Pick it up, get nostalgic and see if you don't end up playing one of the many legends of Zelda.

Beautiful book, so full of detailed facts and such a joy to read. that aside I was amazingly disappointed that the spine of the book was damaged, this was only spotted after it was opened and I didn’t want to start the process of sending it back and asking for a refund and all the time that this process takes as it’s the second time that I’ve attempted to purchase this product, the first time I received notice that the products I’d ordered had been returned because they were damaged, anyway, when you spend over £30 on a book you really don’t expect it to be damaged so please be aware if you are looking to buy this book.

A really comprehensive book about the Legend of Zelda. It gives you the timelines, all the baddies you battle in the games, as well as all the games. My only gripe is that this needs updating as it doesn't include Breath of the wild, Tears of the kingdom and Echoes of wisdom.

This book is great for any Zelda fan. The hardback covers and pages are of excellent quality. There is a lot of artwork, screenshots and information contained in the book which will take hours and hours to read through. My main gripe, and the reason I knock a star off, is this silly timeline that first appeared in the Hyrule Historia. They really try to work with it when explaining the history of Hyrule and connecting the games, and it just comes across as stupid and confusing, and as a Zelda fan I find it disappointing. I mean, why does it split into 3 timelines after Ocarina of Time? When I completed that game, I was triumphant and it ended with Link as a child. No idea where the other two timelines come from. What’s wrong with treating the games individually? Oh yes, the stupid internet won’t allow that. Hopefully this is the last book where we see this timeline. Anyway, enough ranting about that timeline. If you can ignore it or read around it, you’ll enjoy this book, and I recommend it to all Zelda fans.

I bought this item as a gift for my girlfriend, who's biggest passion is love is the Zelda series. She'd previously purchased the 'Hyrule Historia', and I the 'Arts & Artifacts' that preceded this book to complete the series, and she absolutely loves this product! It really is *packed* with information on any part of The Legend of Zelda series one would wish to know. From basic info to relationships to family trees to concept art - It has it all, and for such a good price too! It also arrived very quickly, and without damage!
