The Amazon Basics 3-Step Acne Remedy System has been a real lifesaver for my 15-year-old son’s skin! We’ve tried a few different products, but this one has truly delivered noticeable results within just a few weeks. The three-step process is straightforward, and he’s found it easy to stick with.The cleanser clears away dirt and oil gently but effectively, helping to keep his skin fresh without over-drying. The treatment step has really reduced the frequency of breakouts, which has been a huge confidence boost for him. The moisturizer finishes it off perfectly, keeping his skin smooth and hydrated without any greasiness.The 10-ounce size is also great since it lasts a good amount of time. I’m really happy with how well this system has worked for him, and he appreciates the simplicity of the routine. I’d definitely recommend it for any teens dealing with acne – it’s a fantastic product at a fair price!

For context, I am a mid-twenties adult who has struggled to obtain and keep clear skin since middle school. I tried the name-brand, “compare to” version of this facewash kit back in high school with lack luster results.At the time of this review, I have been using all three elements once daily (at night) for 3 weeks now – below are my thoughts about my experience so far.- The set either reacts with my moisturizer or irritates my skin in a way that causes it to react poorly to my moisturizer. I had been using this moisturizer without issue for several months prior. Even if I wait an hour after washing/toning/treating to apply moisturizer, it still leads to an unpleasant tingling, bordering on burning, sensation.- The ^above^ described interaction with my moisturizer is an even bigger issue given how drying this set can be. The skin around my jaw line started to itch after about two washes. While my skin didn’t “peel,” it was visibly flakey [pictured] for the next 3-ish days – after which it cleared up on it’s own. I continued to use the product through the flaking stage.- I DON’T like the product containers themselves. The containers are all squeeze bottles with snap-shut the same tops [pictured], and none of them is a good-fit for the viscosity of the product they contain (e.g., getting to much/little, dripping). With over half of the product left, the cleanser bottle lid no longer snaps shut [pictured].- In terms of effectiveness, I felt like this product did initially improve the appearance of my skin by reducing the overall visibility of my pores and keeping my skin from getting less oily throughout the day. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like those benefits persisted long-term. I’ve had the same frustration with other acne solutions I’ve tried in the past - things temporarily improve before reverting to ‘normal’ despite consistent use.In terms of an overall rating, I don't feel it would be fair to penalize the product too harshly for not being some magic remedy to something I've struggled with for a pretty long time - especially given how unique each individual's skin is. If it were possible to remove another HALF of a star, I would.

Works well and good price.

If you follow the instructions I can attest that you'll see a difference within a week of use. Our teen was on the way to permanent scars. This has really brought those big deep ones under control and they're finally healing. It's hard enough being a teen. This is a small price to pay for better skin;)

I used the other brand for years. But over time it got harder and harder to find easy and the price was getting outrageous and smaller. This Amazon Basics 3-Step Acne Remedy System is a great replacement. I don't need this like I used to but my sons are getting to those teen years and I know this type of system really works. I have oily skin and I can use this daily. You will have to see what works for your skin type. I have not had any issues with this system. The price point is great!

I have oily skin and keeping my face clear has always been a chore. This set up is a much cheaper version of another type of 3 system product and I think this system does better in the long run. I don't see as many blemishes as I did with my other system. Easy to use and inexpensive. Great little system.

Overall, the set was pretty good and came with everything you need for daily face routine except for moisturizer. The cleaner is a scrub, which is different than the foamy/soapy cleansers I’m used to but isn’t bad. The toner and the acne cream work great. The set is three small-ish bottles, but not so small that it hardly has anything, so I’d imagine they’d work great for travel. As someone with moderate acne, I’d say it worked pretty well, but of course it’s not a ‘magic solution’ or anything like that.
