Easy replacement, works perfectly!
For those folks looking for replacements struts...check the length of your old ones and compare that to the ones you are looking at on Amazon in the item description; that way you will be sure to get what you need. These were a perfect fit for my 2005 Mazda 6 4-door hatchback. Replacement took 5 minutes. The old ones have a “C” clamp that is removed with a small standard screwdriver. The new struts “snap” on to the ball joint. The new struts work perfectly supporting the hatch with a spoiler and the shelf behind the seat.

These fit great. You will probably need a helper to lift the hatch enough to fit.
These fit just right. Needed a second hand to help lift the hatch.

Worse then originals by far
The shock while fully extended is loose, the metal is hella thinner then original equipment, extended way to far p.i.t.s. to get it hooked on the balls. I could of went to princess auto and got better ones for cheaper i thought maybe this was better but absolutely not
