I tested my camera with both the mic cover on and off and it seemed to make a differece, although I'm not sure it was completely night and day. I would need some more testing, but it definitely did something and I don't think they interfered with the recorded video significantly. Be aware that these may not be compatible with the case you choose, as they're designed to stick onto the body of the camera itself. I couldn't really make it work with my silicone case.

I enjoy positioning my Insta360 X3 on a long selfie pole on my e-bike to capture some the cool places I get to ride. But with that camera, I've always experienced wind noise and I just sort of accepted it since I didn't really have any solutions at hand. When I saw these, I knew it was worth a try.They work very well for most situations and have improved my audio a bunch, so I'm happy with them. They come with some extras, so no big deal if I mess one or two of them up over time., When attached to my campervan, even these won't deal completely with the wind, but that's to be expected. It's still a big improvement, even at higher speeds. For more normal wind conditions just walking around, these work really well.
