Looks real... from a distance
This artificial tree looks real from a distance, and it is only when close-up that you can tell it is artificial. The tree comes in two parts: the base and lower part that is quite heavy and the upper part. The upper part slots tightly into the lower part, and the foliage then requires a bit of light 'fluffing' up. It cannot be adjusted too much, otherwise the foliage could fall off.The lights add a nice effect with plenty of them for a tree this size and a good length lead for the solar panel. The battery, in the solar panel, charges well even during a dull day but, after a really sunny day, it can power the lights all night (September). We placed the base in a larger pot and filled it with sand that we then soaked with water. The tree is very stable and has not blown/fallen over.

A nice garden addition
This is a lovely addition to the garden that looks so pretty in the evening. With a sturdy pot as it's base, it holds up well with the temperamental UK weather!Having two of these would make a nice entrance point. You get to set the lights up yourself when you open up the box so it can sort of be decorated to your taste.Overall, I like this and think it works well as an all year round decoration. My only slight gripe is that it's not quite the quality that I was expecting from the pictures, especially for that higher price, but from a distance this does resemble a real tree, so I'm happy enough.

Such a pretty tree - realistic conifer. Just get a bag of gravel to top up the pot!
I am really pleased with this artificial conifer tree. Once you take it out of the box, you will need to slightly splay out the branches and assemble it just like you would a Christmas tree. I’m very happy with it.It comes with a weighted pot, but you can’t actually put the solar stake for the lights in the pot as it is completely solid. It would be nice if you could top the pot with some gravel or something, which is what I’m planning to do to make it look more aesthetically pleasing and realistic. The conifer fern tree looks very nice, and it is very difficult to tell it apart from a real conifer from a distance, which is ideal. The pot is weighted, although I’m not sure how well it will stand up to the strong gusts of wind we’ve been having in the UK lately. The solar lights it comes with are really cute, and I like the fact that they are solar-powered, so there’s nothing to plug in. However, as I’ve said, you cannot put the solar stake in the pot, and to be fair, it probably wouldn’t get enough light there anyway. You can position this on a fence or similar where it will receive some sunlight during the day to light up at night.I’m really pleased with this little artificial tree and intend to put it outside my front porch during Christmas. I think it will bring joy and a little bit of jolly cheer to those passing by. Thoroughly recommended. As I’ve said, I would just get a bag of gravel to go on top of the pot to make it look a bit more realistic and to add a little bit of extra weight. Thoroughly recommended.

look like plastic...
Sadly I did expect mopre from this product than what I received. The first thing is that it does look like plastic in natural daylight. The second thing to disappoint is the solar lights, these are very basic, with an early version solar panel. The solar panel is also very basic, with only a few modes to choose from, no way to charge it externally via a USB Port and no remote so one has to go to the panel to turn the lights on / off and / or change the mode. The solar lights are an issue with this product as theyare simply too cheap and given that outdoor lights always look best between mid autumn and mid spring as the darker nights are better for outdoor lighting. During the summer, when the daylight hours are longest then this will charge up but who notices lights after 11pm at night? The lights will look best in winter but then there's little chance of enough solar energy to keep them charged up and no way to recharge the battery other than through the solar energy. Therefore, the lights are likely to have to stay off for a few days at a time whilst the battery recharges. The only time this tree will look good is late at night. When lit up in darkness it doesn't look bad at all.... from a distance. The quality is not good as four small pieces fell off as it was removed from the packaging so although they must have been loose at the factory there was obviously no QA check.Given the overall quality and that I don't find this product to be of good value I can't recommend it. One can always shop around and purchase a far better tree and buy better lights seperatley for little more cost than what this is priced at.

Amazingly realistic looking.
I'm really impressed with this faux cedar tree, it looks very realistic even up close. It's ideal for my sunroom which gets very hot in the summer so I have to move my real plants out or they get stressed/overheated.It comes in two parts so to assemble it you slot the top of the tree into the bottom, give the foliage a bit of a fluff, and you're ready to go. The lights are a really nice touch and the foliage of the tree is thick enough to hide the wire so it looks lovely. The lights have 8 different settings so you can find a setting you like easily and I really appreciate that they're solar so no running costs. The pot is attached to the bottom of the tree and it's weighted so the tree won't fall over which is great with kids and pets in the house. There is a gap between the weight and the top of the pot so I filled it with glass beads which really finishes it off. I love that it looks so real but doesn't require any trimming, watering or other upkeep so it'll look good year round and it can be decorated for Christmas too.Overall I'm very pleased with this faux tree, it's very well made with high quality materials and would look great if you had on either side of your front door to give a really chic look without breaking the bank or any tiresome upkeep. I would definitely recommend it. 5*
