Pretty Good, Shrinks Heat Shrink. Probably Best for Moderate Use
So I've only used this a couple times to shrink heat shrink, and it's definitely effective. It takes a small amount of time for the heat gun to get up to temp, but it does gets there. It had zero issues with both 4ah and 5ah batteries, but I honestly don't know if I would reach for this if I had a big job or needed to do something like strip paint. Not a big deal, it's just the nature of cordless tools. It makes getting into an engine compart or up into the rafters very easy though.Overall worth it. Inexpensive, it works, and it feels reasonably well built - it's not junk. And even if it eventually kicks the bucket, its not an highly expensive tool.

Disappointing Battery Performance – Not Recommended
I purchased the SEEKONE Cordless Heat Gun, which uses Dewalt batteries, but unfortunately, the quality didn’t meet my expectations. The build feels very basic, and the battery life was highly disappointing. With a fully charged battery, it only lasted 10-15 seconds before shutting down, which is far too short for any practical use.For comparison, I later bought a FOODONE heat gun, and it lasted a full 25 minutes at 900 °F using the exact same battery. While SEEKONE’s corded heat guns are excellent (I own one that works great), I cannot recommend their cordless model.

Great for heatshrink tubing.
This is a wonderful tool that matches DeWalt's 20V form factor battery. It comes with several nozzles for various tasks. The 20 volt batteries from DeWalt really put out the heat. I had a specific duty for this both inside and out and that is shrinking heat shrink tubing on wires and wiring harnesses. These things it excels at. It comes with a built in light I could do without, but hey maybe you want to strip paint off in the middle of the night. My only concern is for my batteries' life. They advertise it shutting down in battery protection mode (I've yet to run a battery down on a job) at 12 volts. That seems a little low of a dip for the batteries. I'll not get into the math as others have, but I don't wait for it to drain a battery to 12 volts before switching batteries. This is the only concern with the unit, I don't want it trashing my drill's batteries. So far, I have noticed no ill effects on the batteries yet, but if you drain them down all the way to 12 volts I would say you ware risking damage to the batteries. Otherwise I am pleased. It's great to get at places like under the dash of your car or in other tight spots without having a cord in your way.

Hot!
I got this to clean up some 3d prints and to get some sticky stuff off of the shower wall. This took care of both of those cases. The air does not come out a very high speed meaning you need to keep it pretty close to the item you are trying to heat up. It does get very hot though. Overall I would say this a solid heat gun and it works with your existing batteries which is always a bonus.

Impressive item
Works extremely well. Not sure of commercial uses but a great item to have around the house for sure. Heat fast and holds up well. Love that it used the dewalt 20V batteries. Highly Recommend!

Heats quickly and performs well
This review is for the SEEKONE Cordless Heat Gun for Dewalt 20V Batteries. It includes the heat gun itself, 3 steel nozzles to direct the hot airflow, and an instruction manual. This heat gun does not have a battery or charger included, so that is something you have to supply. It can be any size Dewalt 20 volt battery. There are 2 heat ranges which can be selected by a black slide switch located on the top of the heat gun. High gives 550C and 280 l/min airflow, and low gives 300C and 200 L/ min airflow. It heats up in approximately 5 seconds. Holding down the trigger turns it on, and releasing the trigger turns it off. It has a side button, which when depressed, locks the trigger on for hands free operation. It works great, and on high, the heat elements glow red hot. There is no lack of heat, that's for sure. This heat gun is suitable for such things as working with heat shrink tubing, softening up hot glue, softening plastic, vinyl wrap, removing paint, etc. It is fairly light (0.43 kg), and total weight of course depends on the battery size. A small LED comes on when running to help illuminate the work area in dark environments. The most important feature for me is the fact that it is portable and doesn't need AC power to run. This allows you to use it anywhere, which to me is a huge benefit. I have an AC powered heat gun, and I feel this SEEKONE heat gun works just as well. It might not be as hot, but certainly hot enough for any job I need it for. I couldn't find any warranty information on the web page, or the instruction manual. If you need a portable heat gun, and already have some Dewalt 20 volt batteries, I recommend you take a look at the SEEKONE heat gun.

Great portable heat gun that uses batteries you likely already have if looking this far down.
The SEEKONE cordless heat gun is great for the price.A heat gun is extremely useful to have cordless, even in places you have access to a plug, it’s just so much easier with a battery. Think about every time you use a drill and imagine having a cord, this used to be normal. The heat gun itself doesn’t feel premium, but it’s pretty good and it’s a heat gun, not an impact gun. The lock button is really nice for when you need both hands to work and having two temperature settings is nice. There are so many things you can do with a heat gun, but likely the more common ones are paint stripping and shrink tubing. The high setting is plenty powerful for paint stripping and the low setting is actually overkill for shrink tubing.I don’t usually use any of the accessories that come with heat guns, but I like the reducer attachment to concentrate the air in a smaller area.

you get what you pay for
works ok, gets hot enough but doesnt blow much air, but for half the price of a dewalt one it is ok.

Potential fire hazard, and not in a normal heat gun way
I would call this a "light duty" heat gun, where it's primary benefit is that it's cordless & works with Dewalt batteries. This doesn't move a lot of air compared to my corded heat guns. Temperature wise it gets reasonably hot, and can handle shrink tubing well.My Dewalt batteries fit with no issues. It kind of goes downhill from here. Once you turn it on, it doesn't turn off without messing around with the trigger. It often takes 4-5 quick clicks to get it to turn off, whether or not I engaged the trigger lock. I feel like maybe the lock trigger is lose & is catching it somehow? Although I don't believe so since the trigger has full range of motion while I'm trying to turn it off. Also noting, there is no "cool down" feature which I have on my corded heat gun. This is a safety mechanism to ensure it the heating fins have sufficient time to cool down rather than just cutting the power. An abrupt shut off could cause damage to the heat fins, as well as the housing. As a result of the trigger issue, I haven't used this often. I don't feel overly comfortable using this given the potential fire hazard.Update: The seller reached out & provided guidance the device not turning off is the cool down feature. I do appreciate the seller providing the proactive after sales support. With this new information, then to update my review I would say the cool down feature doesn't work consistently. There are times I've used it long enough the cool down feature should have turned off, but it shut off immediately, which is what initially lead me to believe there was no cool down feature.I used the gun again today after receiving the support. In one instance the trigger locked in the on position without having engaged the locking feature. It was stuck in the fully squeezed in position and would not release until I tapped the gun in my hand a couple of times.
