The material is VERY light weight, good for hot weather but it blows up pretty easily. If it wasn't for my sporran I'd have been flashing people a few times. The sizing seems a bit off too. I ordered 2 kilts in 32", which is what I got per the labels but they wear like a 34".Plan on some serious ironing of pleats from the shipping, you'll get them stuffed into Amazon envelopes.

For the price we were wary about this because true Utilikilts are very $$. But this is actually really nice looking feels nicely made. It's lighter weight so would make a great summer option. It's flattering and fits well. My husband has been wearing Utilikilts for 20 years and is very picky, but he'd even wear this.

I have several other kilts including one I picked up in Scottland and the first thing I would say is if you are looking for a high quality scottish kilt this is not it, but that is also not what this was designed to be. This is a very simple and lightweight kilt for kicking around it, and for that it is excellent. The material is very lightweight even compared to my damn-near-kilt-em kilt, which I actually really like because it ends up being very comfortable. It also attaches with Velcro and has an elastic waste band so it is very adjustable and you don't need a belt to keep it up if it's a bit big, and if it's a bit too small it can stretch a bit. I am 6'0 220lbs and went with the large and it fits perfectly, but if I get any bigger of a gut I would want an XL so if I were to order again I would probably just get the XL since it has the velcro for adjustments. The pockets are really nice and fit my iPhone 15 Pro perfectly. And I like the looks of the solid with the tartan in the pleats, looks cool.

Awesome material. Doesn't feel cheap. Fits well with long straps held by velcro. Hits at the knees for my husband. Looks good. Very comfortable.

This kilt is very light weight. I will be returning it.

I knew going in that this utility kilt was not designed for curvy girls with a bit of dimension out back, as it were, but found it surprisingly easy to get it to look good (wear bike shorts!). It’s accessorizable and handy, adjusts trivially with Velcro (though this will get less useful over time), and doesn’t cling too much around the hip area. This would look great at cons or out clubbing, paired with stompy boots and a simple graphic t-shirt. Recommended.

This kilt was much better quality than I was expecting! The material felt great and was soft to the touch and it came down right around my knees and the design allows for unobstructed movement as well as kneeling, bending, or stooping. The fit was tight but I wish I had went with a size larger, according to the chart I should've been an XL but a 2XL would've been perfect! While the front flap offers some good privacy of the nether region I would still opt to wear some extra garments underneath for the occasional wind gust or kneeling movement that may offer a bit too much of a window into that area. Overall it feels like a great kilt!

Product arrived in a timely manner - but was not the correct size (based on the size chart). I should have gone a size larger (went with medium - again based on the size chart). I have always wanted a Scottish Kilt (even knowing that this was more costume than truly authentic), so disappointed that I did not get the correct size. It is a nice kilt, but definitely for costume use only.
