The media could not be loaded. Really fantastic gift for babies. It takes 3 x AA batteries. There are 3 buttons to press.First one press to play a tune. To change to next song press twice (once off then on again)The next button in middle is noise activation but not nearly as much fun as the songs (many chart hits as far as I can hear)The last button showing a 🎤 records you as you speak and repeats it back. This is a fantastic toy that babies to tweens will enjoy.Hiiiiighly recommend for all.

Funny!
The media could not be loaded. This is a funny toy. It repeats parrot fashion what you say or sing or any noise it picks up. It is slightly higher in pitch but a very good recording. The cactus dances in its pot as it repeats or as it plays one of "200" songs- I don't know that there's 200 it just said that on the product video- all I know is I haven't got back to the beginning. It also lights up the main trunk which is easy to see in a dark room. It's about a foot in height. The toy is soft, stitched and sealed well and therefore suitable for younger children. It takes three AA batteries (not included) which are in the base screwed in securely. You will need a small phillips screwdriver and 3 AA batteries in order to make this toy work.My favourite feature is the volume button. Someone has finally realised that children's toys do not need to be heard at the far end of the house! It costs £18.99 which is probably slightly more than I'd expect to pay for this toy. It is however great fun and highly entertaining to children and adults alike.

120 songs, half are not at all suitable for kids!
The media could not be loaded. Wow! Just wow! You want songs about shooting, and a lot of questionable language for your 6-12 month old, then this is the toy for you! Your baby can start to talk with quite an extensive vocabulary. Also plays dance monkey and happy birthday, and a lot of dance music, but some of it. Just wow!! Can’t actually believe this is sold as a baby toy! Bonkers (that would’ve been a good song choice). Adults, enjoy!

quirky, but good
it's a bit mad, but very suitable for a young baby. it's not too aggressive, loud or annoying which is good for the baby and everyone else!I like the design of everything being made of plush, they could've easily gone with a plastic plant pot which would've been less safe. the battery compartment is screwed in for extra safety and they have lasted the entire time it has been used.this is not really a toy the baby can use themselves (unless just to be used as a plush), as the buttons are hidden, so you need parental interaction.it's quite funny when you get a back and forth interaction with your kid. highly recommended for some easy fun

Fun and engaging toy but can get a bit repetitive!
I recently got the Dancing Cactus Toy for my niece, and it’s been a hit! The bright green colour and LED lights immediately grab her attention, and the fact that it dances and repeats what you say keeps her entertained for ages. It’s definitely one of those toys that brings out lots of giggles, and the 120 songs mean there’s plenty of variety to keep things interesting. The mimicking feature is fun – it repeats words in a funny voice, which makes the little ones laugh even more. However, after a while, the constant repeating can get a bit much for the adults! The songs can be a little repetitive as well, but for kids, it’s all part of the fun.The toy seems well made, and it’s durable enough to withstand being knocked around by little hands. For the price, it’s a great value, especially considering how much entertainment it provides. I’d say it’s perfect for babies between 6 and 18 months who love music and movement. Just be prepared for some catchy tunes to be stuck in your head!

Could have been better
This review is for the 'Dancing Cactus Baby Toys 6 to 12 Months, Talking Cactus Toys with LED 120 Pcs Songs, Repeats What You Say Baby Toys 12-18 Month Boys Girls, Dancing Cactus Mimicking Toy Sing Talking Musical Toy'. I was sent the cactus from Amazon Vine free of charge for my impartial review.I don't think of a toy such as the Dancing cactus to be suitable for 6-18 months. I think that is the wrong target market and if buying for that age group I think you will be disappointed. I would categorise this as a novelty gift for 5+, or even one for adult secret Santa. But saying that, I still wouldn't recommend this particular toy. This would not make a good gift as it comes very poorly presented, wrapped in only cellophane, and mine with the battery door hanging off. The cellophane does have a label on it, and on that label it does say 6+ months as evidence of its child safe nature.Functionally, the cactus moves well, the fabric body is well made and I can see the lights shining though, but I have other issues with this particular product.First, the 'buttons' which are hidden within the plant pot are not stitched on as appears in the images, but rather these are stickers which can be pulled off.Second, the audio recordings this can make are very short. Anything longer than a couple of words, a few seconds gets cut short as it repeats.Third, the majority of this toys memory is full of music intro clips. I think I recognise one as 'Gangham Style', the others I am not familiar with. That is, apart from the first, as each time you switch to music mode it plays a rendition of happy birthday...and worse...it sounds like it is singing 'happy birthday, my fiancé..' ..which is just bizarre. If this were better presented, and more of its resources dedicated to recording memory rather than bizarre music clips, it could be a bit of fun, but sadly this is not the case.I rate it as a 2 star, because the movement is good and the fabric cover is good, but don't recommend this as a gift.

So much fun!!
The media could not be loaded. The feature where it repeats what you say is a big source of giggles, and it's great for encouraging early speech. The cactus dances to the music, adding a playful, energetic vibe. It's durable and safe for babies 6 to 18 months, and keeps them entertained for long periods
