I thought this was a very interesting book. I did not know a few if these women prior to reading about then in this book. I am glad I did buy it.

Excellent information for those unfamiliar with these women. It also provides pretty good teaching material, but for some reason on the kindle version it was missing punctuation. This could occasionally lead to some confusion if you do not know the stories already. When in doubt get a good reference Bible and look up the stories mentioned.

The writing style is very simplistic and not very deep theologically. Though the subject matter is good, I have found it to be a rather boring read.

Couldn't put it down! Great read for the new and the mature believer. It is an inspiration and wonderful refection of women who live the life of Faith!

The concept of this book is great, but the execution needs some work. This felt like a first draft with a lot of flaws. Tokan's writing style is simple which I like, but it lacks depth and gives her opinion too freely instead of backing it with Biblical facts or history.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was based on biblical facts and the writing was understandable. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves the Bible.

This is a short one, only a one hour audio book, but it was great. The author makes a good point that seemingly ordinary acts add up to great things. Make no mistake, this is definitely a religious book by an obviously religious author, so the end of each chapter relates scripture to our lives and our own actions. While this may not interest those who are not Christian, it is a great example of women taking action for God and to further their communities in ancient times. It was a fun listen and definitely reminded me that even small actions can amount to great things.

Good book

It was very interesting to read and the book highlighted the stories of these women in a way I could relate to by sharing tips to focus on from what they did. I would recommend it to anyone seeking how we all don't have to be in forefront but can still be heroes.

Its Ok read not quite what I expected but need to finish and review again at a later date. Dx
