My mechanical experience is the level right below beginner. Bought a new 450x which shortly after purchasing I learned it needed a new engine. Spent a while keeping my eyes out and finally found a good engine. Swapped the engine out myself by relying on this manual. Previously I had really expanded my horizons by learning to change the oil on a car, that was the extent of my know how...It was a lot of fun to learn and go through the process. The exhilaration of starting it up for the first time after swapping out the engine was off the charts.I did end up taking it into a local mechanic who specializes in 450 race bikes and had him give it a full check just to be sure I don't kill myself. Gave it two thumbs up!

Bought this to service my crf250x myself. Manual is very detailed with pictures and charts for specifications. Highly recommended- Clymer blows all other manuals out of the water.
