Quick fix for making the small hangers fit
Absolutely love these lights, and every time a set arrives I think of a new project for them. So far I'm up to 5 sets this season. The only problem is the hangers are way to small for a mason jar. What I did to rectify, was use a small zip tie where the hook is suppose to fit, and then just looped the hook into the zip tie and tightened. Viola! Be sure that the hanger is not upside down, or it wont hang straight! Out of the 5 sets, I did receive 1 dud, and it did not light up, but it may just be a bad battery. Also, if you are lucky, I found ground hooks at the Dollar Tree, so I am doing my walkway as well. Amazon sells them also, but I believe they were about 3-4 dollars a piece in the set. Im sure Amazons are a better quality, but for my purpose the dollar hooks worked just fine.Above is a Blue and Pink mason jar with warm white lights

Very pretty but A little difficult to make work
I bought these for a gift for my sister, but sometimes some of them don’t go on strangely unless you turn them upside down after you screw the top on! I mean they still look pretty and we enjoy them and we may just have gotten a bad set, But I wish we could put them right side up also

Clever light decoration
First saw this item at a Hawaii restaurant, found them on Amazon and they're a novel decorative item. They come as a jar lid/solar collector/battery compartment with a thread wire of tiny leds. Given enough sunlight, they burn for several hours. Jar can be tuned upside down to ensure light stay on no matter how much light is in room. The jars are NOT included but readily available. Good purchase for us.

These lids and lights are much easier than “building” my own-the price is great!
I used to take the solar piece in the “push in the ground” solar lights, have plexiglass cut to replace the removable thin round piece in the jar lid, glue the cut plexiglass to the underside of the lid, glue the solar light piece to the underside on the plexiglass and screw the lid back one.Purchasing your item made it so much easier. Do you happen to have them for a larger mason jar?

Perfect fairy lights!
Oh my! I love these little lids with the lights! Super easy.Took them out of the box. Turned the solar on. Set in sun for about 4 hours. Put in jars. Put hangers on the jars. And tried them out in a dark room.I'm in love!!And what's more, the solar aspect is perfect. They'll be a hit for our patio and for a Halloween idea I have.
