We're pretty sure the ventilation fan in our house is from the 1970s or perhaps 1980s. Certainly we moved in at the end of the 80s and have put up with that noisy old fan that comes on when the windowless under stairs toilet main light comes on. It's better to have one than not have airflow, but it's incredibly noisy compared to this one.It's more than sufficient for our needs, and has done a good job. It looks fine and while it's not the highest end device and maybe isn't what I'd want in my dream setup it's perfectly good enough for most people's needs.

This attractive bathroom fan from EINTTAX is available in round or square and both look great.The fan comes boxed with instructions and fitting screws.Fitting the fan is relatively easy especially if you already have an air outlet of 100mm diameter in your bathroom the fan outlet should fit through that perfectly.The fan can be partially dismantled with the top being removed to access the screw fixings underneath.There is a plastic flap on the inside to stop flies etc from getting back in the bathroom through the pipe although it feels quite cheap and doesn't always go back into place.Another issue I found was accessing the PCB board to modify the timing references for the fan powering on and off as advised in the manual as I was unable to access it.The power lead for this fan has a live and neutral on a relatively short lead and unfortunately it comes out at the side of the fan and not the top which means it is exposed in the damp atmosphere in the bathroom.When the fan is running it is actually quiet and smooth and does a good job of removing steam from the bathroom.Overall this is an attractive quiet running bathroom fan at a reasonable price with a few issues that you should consider prior to purchasing.

This unit looks smart and is quiet in operation.It was also a breeze to install in place of the old one that had finally given up after several years. Very satisfied.
