Product Description We have carefully selected the best ingredients to create our Stevia milk chocolate praline bar. So what you experience is a luxurious, velvety chocolate that has the hazelnut taste that comes with praline filled chocolate. Our 85 gram bar is perfect for sharing with friends and family, if you can bring yourself to do this. The thing that sets these bars apart from a lot of other No Added Sugar chocolate bars is that this one is sweetened with Stevia. Stevia extract is a wonderful alternative to sugar because it has no calories or carbohydrates, so it is a healthier alternative to sugar as well as being suitable for diabetics. Stevia Hazelnut Chocolate
This is advertised as Stevia Hazelnut Chocolate. Since this was being sold by Amazon I never read the ingredients, I wish I had. This Chocolate does contain Stevia but mostly it is Sweetened by "Maltitol". I found this out the hard way after I had eaten 2 squares less than one half of a single bar, about 35g.The Packet is emblazoned with Stevia across the front and I think this is very misleading, especially if you have a reaction to Maltitol as I do. It is fine and dandy if you want to take a Laxative but it is not funny if you think you are safe as the Chocolate you are eating is sweetened with Stevia. Then you find out the nasty way that there is more Maltitol in the Chocolate than Stevia.Other than that the Chocolate is nice and very edible but watch out for the Maltitol Effect.

Not impressed
They are not the best Stevia chocolates I had. Tried with coconut and hazelnut.Especially the coconut leaves the bitter Stevia after taste. Very expensive for what they are.

Cheap
A similar taste to cheap advent calendar chocolate. Unpleasant, and sickly. Won't be buying again.

Delicious, sugar-free!
Delicious yet not as sweet as the Praline version that the same company makes (in a smaller size). Still good but if you are a real chocoholic looking to quit chocolate - get the Praline one.

Liars - don't but.
Scam, be aware. They claim in the description of the product, that it is 100% artificial sweeteners free, but have maltitol on ingredients list (actualy quite high up).

Laxative chocolate
Have only just spotted Alan Law's review and he has said everything I was going to say. Balance likes to advertise stevia without mentioning it also contains malitol - which is a laxative. You have to try quite hard to spot that ingredient amongst the small print. I hadn't realised until it arrived and I now intend to bin my order. That is the only place fit for it.
