Architecture: A World History Paperback – May 1, 2008

I bought this as a present for someone, but a quick flick thru it and I like what I see

Have not read or seen the complete book but from what i have seen it is an excellent book that shows all types of architecture from ancient to modern buildings.

A very interesting little book that does a pretty good job of taking you through the ages of architectural developement. My only quibble is that I wish it had been printed in a larger format.

The pictures are beautiful. The timeline is clear.

The book shows famous buildings of the world and architects. The size of the book is quite small, and so the pictures too. But its prize wasn't bad. So I am pleased.

My oldest son is studying Architecture now and he will find this as a valuable resource.

This was a gift I bought for my nephew, an architecture student. He thought is was quite informative and interesting.

Excellent book but missing some styles of architecture such as Chicago and Edwardian.
