This bottle of textile protection spray arrived quickly and well packaged. It comes in a 250ml bottle with a spray applicator. Per the instructions on the bottle you are to spray evenly on dry clean material then using a glove spread it on the material then let dry completely before testing. It is easy to apply and once dried it has effectively created a water repellent layer on a few different pairs of shoes. I have tested this on leather and suede so far with positive results. This is great for smaller items but I don’t know that a single bottle would complete a large item like a chair, sofa, or even curtains so you will need to order accordingly. One thing about this product is that it did not show any signs of discoloration or deterioration to the materials it was applied to, so you don’t have to worry about it damaging your items (which is why I tested it on old shoes first). The price point is in the mid range and comparable to many other similar products, but with the current discounts it becomes very affordable. This seems to be a great option for those looking to add a water repellent layer to a variety of different materials to improve the lifespan and overall appearance at an affordable price. Would recommend.

I have applied this spray to all of my athletic footwear, and it has proven to be highly effective in protecting them from occasional rain while also helping to maintain their cleanliness. The majority of my shoes are made from a combination of synthetic materials and leather, and this spray penetrates and provides comprehensive protection for both.

It could be the material my shoes are made up why it isn't repelling water, but its familiar to other sprays I've used.4 stars

This product is meant to make textiles hydrophobic, but it only works on some select types of fabrics. I found that even with three coats of the Nanotec protectant that my knit fabrics were still not waterproof. What happens is the very first time you splash a little water on the fabric it begins to run right off, but then it starts to soak in shortly after. If you put this on shoes and then stepped in a puddle, your foot would be soaked.It does work well on leather and other solid textiles though. I found that it protected leather sneakers really well and it also worked well on the outer soles - which is great for keeping them white on most shoes.Overall this product works well on select items, but not all textiles. I'll use it to protect my sneakers soles, but I know that it won't do much for the knit or fabric uppers. One good thing is that it doesn't change the look or feel of the material it's applied to, so you don't have to worry about ruining the item - even if it does or doesn't provide any real protection.

Nanotec Nano Tec Fabric Coating for Textile.The aluminum bottle arrived with a couple dents in it but no big deal. Application was easy with the pump sprayer with no odor. Just let it dry and you are done. I'm pretty impressed with its hydrophobic properties. We'll see how long it lasts. Treating two jackets consumed about 3/4 of the bottle.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this nano tec spray to use on my leather ankle boots. They are a light pearl color and I wanted to protect them from dirt stains and water damage heading into winter weather. I followed the directions on the aluminum spray bottle exactly and got amazing results. There was absolutely no smell to this spray whatsoever. It has protected my boots so well, you can see them bead up in the video when exposed to water. I haven't tried this product on any other type of textile yet, so I can't speak to its effectiveness on other materials but I sure am impressed with the results on leather.
