Lightweight, grippy- high stack might be a bit much for ultra-technical trails.
We're a family of runners, so we were happy to grab a pair of lightweight trail joggers. I'll cut to the chase, these are exceptionally light, supportive, comfy, and super grippy (vibram megagrip!). Fit and finish is excellent, with not a stitch out of place. Materials should hold up to moderate trail use- think maintained trails, dirt/gravel paths, and forest service roads.I do have a couple of quick notes. The sizing runs true to length, but width is best for narrow to normal. If your feet are more on the normal/wide side of things, you'll want to opt for a shoe that comes in wide sizing. Second, the vibram sole has excellent grip, but there are some spots that aren't covered by the rubber. If the right size/shape rock were to poke in the wrong spot it could cause an injury, which is why I mentioned that these would be best on maintained trail surfaces. That said, there is plenty of cushion on these. So, even if you were to step wrong on a sharp rock it'd have to make its way through some of that extra thick midsole. And this brings me to my last point, the stack on these is great for loping through some long miles of trail in comfort, but it's pretty high for more technical trails.Overall, we're very happy with Kailas' entry into an otherwise crowded trail runner market. We'd be happy to recommend to others!

Stretchy Laces, Stiff Sole
The stretchy laces make these shoes convenient, but the stiff sole feels uncomfortable, especially on hard floors where they make noticeable noise.

KAILAS Women's Fuga EX 2 Trail Running Shoes
Spectacular shoes!!! Took me a minute to understand how to put them on. The laces are not conventional and there is a little flap in the tongue to tuck the ends in, I'm assuming so you don't step on them while exercising. These shoes fit me like they were molded for my feet. I have narrow feet and I'm starting to get a bunion as I get older. Taking care of my feet with the right shoes has become a priority. These are beautifully structured to hold my feet in the correct shape, providing excellent arch support and long lasting all day comfort. I wear them more often than I wear any of my other shoes. I personally don't think they're that attractive... kind of sporty for my taste and the colors are bright, but I swear I get more compliments on them! They're great shoes. I highly recommend them.

Lightweight
This is a nice pair of shoes overall. I like the design and color options. They are lightweight and seem like they would be good for running. Unfortunately for me they are too small, especially in the toe area. I sized up half a size, but they still feel too small. Otherwise they seem like they would be comfortable. I do think they seem a little “plastic-y” but they are machine washable and also that should be good if you are running in the rain. If you can get the right fit this should be a good shoe.

Trail-Ready and Stylish!
These running shoes are the perfect blend of comfort and performance! They grip like a champ, giving me the confidence to tackle rocky paths and muddy hills if needed, without missing a beat. Plus, they’re surprisingly lightweight and don’t leave my feet feeling fatigued after a long run. Bonus points for looking stylish while keeping my stride steady!

Good fit, nice look
I ordered these in a size 6.5 which is my usual shoe size. They are a good fit so I think you would do fine ordering your usual size.I typically work out 3-4 times a week and I have been wearing them for the last few weeks. I can say that these shoes are comfortable and I have not been having any issues with my feet after my workouts.Aside from the comfort, I like the style and look of the shoe.Overall, very nice. I would recommend.👍🏾

Runs Small
These are of course, very well made shoes. What i don't like:1. They run small. I am a solid 7 1/2. Tried them on with workout socks-very cramped in the toe area.2. Good luck getting your feet in them until you figure out that the "laces" are tucked inside this weird pocket on the front of the shoe. I do not understand why they configured them this way...maybe it's their "think" but personally, I found it super annoying.Overall I was pretty disappointed. This is a name brand and they just did not measure up to my expectations.
