The stools arrived with a scrappy bit of card half wrapped around the base, the tops exposed and with both tops damaged (edges cracked with splinters). I asked for full refund and was offered half the money which I rejected as the stools were unusable. The full refund was given. The tops were disappointingly plastic looking even though supposed to be wood effect. We bought some circular wooden pizza boards, screwed them on as replacement tops and varnished them for the intended present. Result - a lot of work for a better outcome than if they had not been damaged and for about the same price. Needed much better packaging but also the finish looked tacky. The bases are sturdy and the folding design is great for a small flat.

This arrived damaged but i kept it. It was fairly sturdy but we are using it as a small table. It wouldnt stand up to holding someone heavy. It isnt easy to put up and take down- its an odd mechanism. I wouldn’t use it as a stool. It serves our purpose as a table. The seat covering is very flimsy/brittle and wont last long.

Pleased with this purchase as additional seating for Christmas. The height is the same size as dining room chairs so everyone looked the same when seated. They doubled up as side tables for the evening. Easy to fold and store. Would buy again.

Really pleased with this stool. I have sat on it a number of times but bought it to use as a wee side table, for which it serves the purpose ideally, and much cheaper than some actually marketed side tables.

This stool is very well made for the price but unfortunately it was damaged, poorly wrapped, but the seller was quick to settle this problem

Bought 2 of them. One arrived with the wood layer on the top broken. The second one broke after 1 hour of use.Won’t buy it again. Avoid those!

Worked well for a few months and then just buckled one day. Only used for 30 minutes a day when bathing children and we are not "big boned". The style is nice but it's just not strong enough to last. Unfortunately just another throw away item.

No assembly required - comes ready to use - I like the safety catch, don't have to worry that it will collapse or foldwhilst in use. Overall a very good stool.
