SLAP IT ON TOAST
I live outside of London and, obviously, lockdown has kept me away, so I have needed to turn to online retailers for some of the more specialist food I want to buy. I first saw kaya used in an episode of Masterchef Australia and wanted to try it out so ordered a jar from here. For the uninitiated, it is a sort of coconut jam that is popular in Southeast Asia.Anyway, it is delicious and works well on toast, pancakes, ice cream and anything else you'd put a sweet spread on. I thought the Amazon price was reasonable and the quality top notch. I have ordered more jars since.

Impressive protective packaging
You could throw the jars from an airplane and they wouldn’t break. Arrived quickly and the product itself is super tasty, will definitely buy more soon!

Rich and tasty
New experience for me as I'd never tried this before. A little goes a long way on toast or crumpet. Very rich taste. A sweet coconut custard jam.

Pricey but tasty
A bit expensive but can't get this anywhere else so ok I suppose.

Ok, not ToastBox
If you are after the Singapore ToastBox experience here in the UK then look elsewhere. This is very runny and VERY yellow (not what I'm used to). Tastes ok though. However, when I was halfway through the jar I realised what was written on the side of the jar, just below the ingredients, which put me off immediately:"Tartrazine and Sunset Yellow may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children."No wonder my kids love it. Binned.

Excellent Kaya
I usually buy this make of Kaya in Malaysia when I'm on holiday there, but due to the Covid-19 lockdown I could not travel out during 2020 and 2021 so had to buy it online through Amazon. It's excellent and one of the best available in Malaysia. I always seek it out.

Very tasty
This is a longtime favourite. Beautiful flavour, particularly on toast.
