I must have tried almost every shaving foam/gel/cream. Even the “artisan” homemade/handmade all natural ingredients shave soaps. They all left my face dry, tight, and in some cases, it felt like I was shaving with nothing at all on my face. That’s not the problem with this stuff. It lubricates and more importantly cushions the blades as they glide across your face. You can make multiple passes over the same area of your face without having to reapply more cream to the area. And it leaves your face feeling smooth and tingly.I switched to alba cream shave five years ago, and I wouldn’t use anything else on my face.My only complaint is that they stopped making the aloe mint version of the cream shave a few years back. That was my favorite, and I wish they’d make it again.

This is my favorite...very reasonably priced and nourishing. I'm not big on the foam types because they seem to be drying afterwards.

First thing: if you are looking for a flavored coffee creamer, this is NOT a good choice. It smells delicious, but it tastes like chemicals, and doesn't mix well.If you're in the market for a nice shaving cream however, this is a great choice. It's smooth, and creamy, and you won't need much to go a long way. And, as I stated above, it does smell delicious. I do agree with other reviewers that it smells more like mint than coconut, but still, it does smell nice. I have used this off and on for quite a while, and I have no plans to give it up.

I have a heavy beard and this stuff is great. I like it so much because it is super smooth and emollient and it does not foam up - no need for foam here- and you can see where you are shaving and what you might have missed. I also purchase this regularly for my 86 year old stepdad who has parkinson's and he shaves his beard and he loves it. The smell is great and it leaves my skin feeling softer and smoother than anything else I have ever shaved with.
