YogaKargha mats are handwoven with natural fibers (cotton yoga mats), are eco-friendly, stable, anti-odor, and perfect for hot yoga sessions. Highly sweat absorbent and easy to wash and maintain, we made our Punja mats such that they are larger and longer in dimensions.About the Antiskid felt backing:Small rubber dots have been embedded on a felt fabric layer roll that has been embedded with the woven cotton layer to create a more stable mat surface. This helps in supporting a yoga practitioner during the Asanas and postures. Please note the additional layer does not make the mat completely skid free. This mat is good for general Yogasana practice and for use on a carpeted surface.For more vigorous postures, we recommend using the cotton mats over an existing rubber/TPE mat to create a better support or use our natural rubber back option available in organic cotton mats. Please note these are all handwoven products (hand-dyed, handwoven) and there may be slight variations in the weave and colors - not to be construed as imperfections.
