Seems to work well out of the box, haven't been able to stress it yet though, still waiting for 10Gbs NICs to test the speed.

Got this to unlock the full speed of Sky's 5Gbps XGS-PON broadband. 10G SFP+ link to the server (paired with a 5G PCIe card) made a huge difference — download speeds went from Gigabit-bottlenecked to actually matching the line speed. 2.5G PoE ports are bonus capacity for access points. Deducting a star because it doesn't come with rack ears — disappointing for a switch clearly designed for rack use. Had to source my own separately. The SFP+ modules run warm but not problematically so with adequate airflow.

The only things i can think of that let this unit down are how big it is, and the power lead. It works flawlessly

This is a fully featured and well constructed switch that is outstanding value for money. It’s backwards compatible and has more features than my existing brand name switches. I have to say I’m very impressed. My only niggle is not sure where to find firmware updates hopefully it’s something I’ll discover eventually or just not need to worry about.

Replaced previous 1000 with this 10gb. Besfbyoh can get at the moment. Missing my POI, which was on every socket.

Great item, works perfectly. The reason its only a 4 star is down to delivery, It was a next day prime order, as soon as I brought it, I was informed it will be delivered 3 days later and no next day. Even dow its still showing as next day delivery. Just be aware if you need the next day you might not get it.

Works but refuses to go 10g. I've got other 10g unmanaged switches that will connect to the same line that work fine at 10g but no matter what I do I can't seem to get this one to go higher than 5g. Not sure if I just got a bad unit or what but I installed it past the return date so I guess I'm stuck with it.

works as described... i noticed it gets really hot .. i suggest put it in a vented area ( maybe in the basement where its cooler )
