Pentagon UTA Men's Anorak Coyote

The anorak is made of a good quality hard wearing material. An inner lining provides insulation. The chest pocket is large enough to carry a map, base-plate compass and notebook. There are zips on each side of the anorak which make it easier to put it on and remove. The hand warmer pocket zips on either side provide entry to one big pocket, not two, providing ample storage space for a pair of gloves/mitts.

I got this as I had one while in the service. I'm 6'3" and a good solid 245. I got an extra large but it's a bit snug. Sizing on these are a bit smaller so if your looking for something that's loose I would suggest a size larger. Takes a bit of getting used to getting off and on. The side zippers I suggest opening all the way to make it easier to get off and on. The only drawback I have is the sleeve pockets could be bigger and the Velcro on them would have to be bigger to mount a flag patch on. Other than that it's waterproof and warm.

The media could not be loaded.  Abrigada, muy cómoda, talla L muy generosa. Mido 1'80 y peso 90kgs de espalda intermedia-ancha. La prenda me queda bien cómoda y perfectamente puedo ponerme para el invierno un jersey gordito debajo o sudadera. La chaqueta tiene borreguillo en toda la zona del pecho y cuello excepto nuca, mangas yampoco. Los bolsillos lateras de las mangas se pueden meter libretas de pequeño tamaño . Los velcros para parches pero no parecen de gran agarre por que se ven suaves y lisos, no los he probado. La capucha es generosa y con borreguillo por dentro y tiene una ligera visera para el agua . Los puños con goma son geniales y además el velcro es perfecto aunque prefiero no tocarlo mucho por si acaso. Finalmente el color es coyote pero en las fotos se ve más claro, en la realidad es más oscuro. El logo de PENTAGON tiene un buen tamaño y el bolsillo de cremallera de canguro es amplio para guardar guantes, gorro etc etc. Es una que por si sola es bastante abrigada

J'ai utilisé cet anorak en randonnée la première foi sous la pluie pendant cinq heures. Rien a traversé. Au niveau de la ventilation, les fermetures eclair sous les bras suffisent. Seuls reproches, pour une personne comme moi assez forte et qui taille XL, il faut prendre une taille au dessus et pour le col, je trouve que si j'ai une écharpe, c'est un peu juste pour fermer le col jusqu'en haut et ainsi serrer la capuche au maximum. Mais, j'en suis quand mème extrêmement content.

I had been looking at this item for well over a year and saw it listed from this vendor at a good price. I needed a new waterproof cold weather type outerwear jacket made of thin breathable material and this item has all the features I desired. It is well insulated and in general will not need for the user to add extra layers of fleece to be worn but if you plan on using it in very cold environments and need extra undergarments, order 1 size up. The quality in the materials and construction of this Anorak are absolutely top notch! The only minor negative is that the velcro loop panels on the shoulders is not very aggressive and some types of velcro hooks on the backs of patches might not be as secure as others. Otherwise, I highly recommend this Anorak.
