perfect for Shashlik
another high five stars to this BBQ. was looking for some specific shaped bbq to put long skewers on it, not using grid. got 60cm skewers and thats the perfect combination for Shashlik (meaning skewered meat, google/wiki it if don't know) lovers! pros: compact, light, ready for use in seconds. cons: inner grid deformed and bit bent after few uses, but in general still absolutely usable. tip: if using on dry lawn - beware of setting it on fire, tiny pieces of burning charcoal may drop trough vent holes, suggest to have some water around.

Great little BBQ/Fire pit
This is exactly what I imagined, light portable but large enough to both bbq and then load up for a fire later on in the evening. Used it 3 times now and I imagine will get the rest of the summer out of it... fab, I will be purchasing again when this one has had it!

Excellent Portable BBQ But Not For Longterm Use
I've owned this for almost a year now and have used it many times. It is excellent for taking with you when travelling as it folds very flat and takes up very little room. The cooking grill also folds into 3 pieces which is very helpful when cleaning it as it will easily fit into a kitchen sink. As others have said, after some time the rack that holds the charcoal does get a little warped out of shape, however it is still perfectly useable. The sides of the BBQ have also warped a little over time too but again it hasn't caused me any problems as yet. One thing I would recommend is to get a sheet of wire mesh and place it above the charcoal rack as this will stop the smaller bits of charcoal falling through the large gaps. I wouldn't expect to get more than a couple of years use out of this but for such a low price I'm more than happy with it.

Great value for money
Fantastic value, and a simple design, although it's finally starting to warp after 4 or 5 years of occasional use as a firepit (don't do this!) but it's certainly still usable for a good while yet. For the money and convenience you can't really do better. One possible criticism is that the 3-way grille is tricky to handle but that's the price you pay for it flat-packing.We've since replaced it with a Waber BBQ which is much more sturdy but also much more expensive

... our half tern trip to Pembrokeshire and were not disappointed. When folded it is compact
We bought this BBQ for our half tern trip to Pembrokeshire and were not disappointed. When folded it is compact, neat and easy to store and transport. We used it twice during the week and the results were great! Would definitely recommend.

not really practical enough
Not a bad little BBQ for the money. When opened up had open holes at both ends where the charcoal just spilled out. The cross members that fold out just kept flopping back which weas irritating. Need to fill up with a lot of charcoal to get up to cooking temperature. Variable grill heights would have been useful. Not the best really. Probably just as good to buy a large disposable BBQ next time. Maybe could balance this on the Folding one would be best I think.

Really good folding BBQ
Great! we use this to take away camping and with the tons of other stuff we take it's really handy that it folds flat and can fit alongside other stuff in the car/trailer, there are cheaper versions of this which we have tried and the Hotspot version comes out on top every time.

Great product
I waited to review this until we had tried it a few times. It is great. We have used it as an extra grill at home when we had a party and it is also great for camping as it doesn't scorch the ground. Great value, it has not buckled in the heat, changed colour or any of the things you would expect from a cheaper product. Would definitely recommend
