I have been looking for a hydration backpack that I can attach to my ruck for the longest time, but I haven't gotten lucky until now.The hydration pack is about the same size as my ruck which is perfect so that it does not weigh too much. The pack itself has two pockets, the front pocket is large enough to fit a laptop in it or other small items and the back pocket is for the bladder, but it does have some other space to fit other items in it. It also has the ability to attach items to it via the back of the pack so that it will attach to a backpack or a ruck.The bladder is a really nice material and the water snake has a wrapping around it to ensure that it doesn't get punctured (nice touch!). The top is also protected on the water snake that allows you to not have spillage over time like other competitive brands. It's also a 3L bladder and it lasts me all day.Overall, this is a perfect backpack for carrying water and it attaches nicely to my other tactical backpack and my ruck. It's a great size as well and holds a lot of items if I am going on longer runs.

I have evaluated more than ten hydration vests / systems so far year to determine this is the best for me after two improvements. I sit in the driver seat most of the time working on a laptop (like now) so a detachable hydration bag and bladder are preferred. The quality of materials, design and craftsmanship are all high-grade. I hated the bite-valve dispenser because it pinches (badly) and is difficult to sip as well. The open/close twist valve is overkill, hard to operate, and is closed when I move the lever a smidgen past the open mark. This was an easy replacement with another straight-up nozzle and therefore NBD. The other improvement was lining the bladder compartment with radiant insulation, which keeps my water cool for over 6-hours! It not only mollies to my tactical vests but also to my tactical duffle, seat back storage and tactical saddlebags.

I got this to add onto a battle belt/h-harness combo, so it's got a little bit less horizontal space than a plate carrier would have. The MOLLE on the back is only 4 columns wide, whereas I the MOLLE straps to attach this pack are 6 columns wide, so unusable on my application. Fortunately it comes with 4 plastic clips that do a good job of attaching it too, although you'd want to switch for metal clips. As it is now, it even holds it off my back a bit (although I imagine it won't once filled).

This is on my plate carrier and will stay there. Plenty of room in the pack, easy to use Molle. Well made bladder and hose. The opening of the bladder is plenty large to get ice in and to wash.

Double and triple stitched where it needs to be. Very well done with MOLLE everywhere. The zippers all have paracord pull string. Zero flaws found. Should MOLLE right into the back of your plate carrier or whatever you want it to. Well worth the money!

This is an excellent water hydrating backpack. It has a smaller size than a standard backpack, but not tiny. A nice medium. Light, but it carries enough for a good hike or a day camping or at a sporting event. Looks great. Has lots of pockets and places to attach gear and other items. The zippers and straps are tough and durable, as is the thick tent-like material. Top rate. Love this.
